Newbie gains after rest?

I have tried PE for about 4 months now and made some gains (from 7” to 7.5” BPEL and 4.8” to 5” EG and 5.5” flaccid BP) which is very pleasing but I am now beginning to loose the drive to continue. I was doing mainly 200 jelqs and various fulcrum stretches with the odd orange bends etc. Thrown in, 2on, 1off. I don’t seem seem to be getting any more gains (fixed at 8.2” BPFSL) and my unit just doesn’t feel particularly fatigued by anything any more. I tried with heating and without.

So, being a lazy sod, I am now wondering if I should have a break for a few months and maybe have another stint at a later date.

My question is:

Beyond recovery from some expected minor shrinkage, has anybody been getting *new* easy newbie gains overall, after a period of a few months rest?

Or are Newbie gains a one-off thing?

There’s a few theories that center around gains from rest phases, I personally subscribe to one and another that’s related is IPR Theory.

Short answer is yes. I’d recommend giving some of the current threads a read. A few touch on this.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

OK, thanks TG. I think I’ll relax for a while now and maybe just do a few token girth excercises now and then.

IMO only 4 months of PE isn’t enough to take months of rest. You may lose all your gains at this point. I would take a week max.


7-20-16: BP: 7.63 NBP 6.75 x 5.75

3-22-17: BP: 8.44 NBP 7.56 x 5.75

Hmm.. Maybe I’ll try 3 days off, 1 day on or something. Like I said, my unit just doesn’t feel fatigued any more, my hands do from jelqing.

My primary reason for doing PE initially was to improve bad EQ, which it helped a lot also (as did cutting back on porn). Now I am wondering if a less frequent routine could produce/maintain results? I am quite happy at 7.5” BPEL, it’s said to be the best all-round size but at 5” EG maybe I could have a go at a bit more girth.

A maintenance routine will do something to maintain your gains. Twice a week is fine for something like that. Eventually it will cement. Then need no routine to maintain it.

Rahman810 is more concerned with long term goals and gains loss early in the journey. As you being content is less common than the usual “get bigger till the gains stop” mentality. A complete stop of a few months after a few months is common to see gains revert back. Hence why I was saying to read up, not take a long break yet. That way you had the information to decide for yourself.

That seems like useful advice from both, thanks. I’ll go on a maintenance routine of 2 or 3 times a week for the foreseeable future and see how it goes.
