PE before bed Vs first thing in the morning

I am a newbie to PE and have noticed that whenever I PE in the morning I stay pumped all day and get better morning wood. However when I PE at night I often see little to no morning wood but can still get a good hard on with stimulation and experience erections during the day. Does the time of day affect gains long term and has anyone else noticed different PIs depending on when they PE?

I don’t know, and it may be different for different people. I really can’t say for myself, as I have done the majority of my PE in the middle of the day. I bet 90% of the PE I have ever done has occurred between 11 AM and 5 PM. I’m currently trying to get in a ten to fifteen minute clamping set before I go to sleep at night, but that is a very recent thing.

I don’t think the cells that make up your body have a watch. It is true that in a resting state certain functions occur that can’t be done while you’re awake but the bottom line is do what you think is right for you. With consistency gains will come either way.

I think when I PE at night my PC muscles don’t get enough time to recover thus the lack of morning wood.

If you want to over analyze things you’ll end up over at the ED forum. If it works for you do it. You’re not dealing with an exact science. You see it’s a teleologic thing. Okay I know you don’t know what that means but it would sure impress the hell out of me if you did. It’s something that you know works but yet you can’t scientifically prove it. Like for instance a belief in God;you can’t prove it but you know He’s around.

Whichever time is the most realistic for your schedule. Essentially, whichever one will create the best consistent routine for yourself. Whichever that may be, is the best answer without a doubt.

My 2 cents here. As I do not have adequate privacy I fail to do long sessions of P E. What I do short sessions throughout the day e.g. stretches with heat in the morning along with JAIs all day. Next day quick jelq/am + ballooning session followed by stretches the following day again. That way I have been able to do away with rest days. Just small decon breaks every month.

If you get some fatigue, and you pump at nite, it will greatly decrease or completely eliminate nite wood, which means you are losing a great benefit to penile health and possibly an important method of cementing gains.


Found this and I feel like it applies to all PE.

I try to do both. Mostly just manual newbie routine with some other stretches mixed in. I’ve noticed that for me, I’m much more likely to have the night one be a higher quality workout.

In the morning I just don’t end up pushing myself as hard. You may be just like me, or the exact opposite.

If you can, try both. Can always do one week one way, and switch it up the next till you find your groove.
