Hey guys. Just started a new routine last week after inconsistency with my previous one so hopefully this will go better and I’ll have some noticeable gains by the time my girlfriend gets back from her summer break.

1) Ok, so I was going through Newbie’s jelqing post about spending only 10 minutes a day instead of going overboard and potentially over-training, so I decided to try jelqing for time instead of reps which is what I was doing prior. I don’t like dealing with lubrication, and my living situation isn’t conducive to it either, so I dry jelq instead. I started at 2 x 4 minutes (one 4-minute set dry jelqing with each hand) and quickly realized it was too intense for me so I dropped to 3-minute sets and that was still really intense so this week I’ll be doing 2-minute sets this week and see how it goes (I know 4 minutes of jelqing seems like nothing, but dry is more intense than wet and my dick isn’t that conditioned right now). Since my girlfriend is back home in another state for summer we’ve been sexting quite a bit everyday so I get quite a few erections during waking hours haha. Earlier today I was pooping and got an erection as can sometimes happen. Except this time I noticed my EQ was higher than normal; veins were bulging that usually don’t and my shaft had a level of rigidity I don’t see too often. However, I also noticed that because I was so hard it also felt a little painful; nothing really intense, but enough to get my attention, especially if I kegeled. I’m doing 5 on 2 off so weekends are my rest days. I don’t believe it was a negative PI as I didn’t notice any marks or discolorations, although after I came I noticed my glans was a little redder than usual (just the glans, not shaft). Do any of you have experience with these PIs and, if so, what came next? Did you see gains or did something negative occur?

2) Rest days. How much resting do you do? Do you just not do PE exercises or do you also abstain from sexual activities as well?

A red glans doesn’t really mean much, in my observation. I’m darker skinned so red is harder to see on me, unsure if I’ve ever had whatever condition you describe but…it isn’t a Physiological Indicator. It’s not a thing that your penis is doing to tell you something, it sounds like the glans was flushed red after an orgasm. Which seems normal for lighter complexions.

Rest days are rest days. Meaning you rest from PE. However, if you can have sex on a rest day…do it. Never let PE interfere with your life. Just schedule another rest day after that one. So if you have sex on Saturday and Sunday, schedule Monday and maybe Tuesday to rest fully. Men with active, full sex lives find PE to be a challenge. Rightfully so.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

Yeah, I know that it stems from orgasm. What I was getting at was that it appeared redder by quite a few shades than it usually does post-orgasm. What about erections that border on pain? I remember reading better EQ as a positive PI, but is there a point where you’re actually too hard and it becomes counterproductive?

Cool. I was just curious if sexual activity could potentially interfere with the healing process. Good to know.

Too hard? I doubt it but that’s a question to ask a urologist if you are truly concerned.

You’re having good PI’s, no problems and reducing your routine. lol I don’t understand the logic behind this?

Rest days are optional. I’d never let PE stop me from having sex; I do 2x-4x a week… Even on days when I hang I still get more than enough EQ to have sex.

It feels like I’m running the risk of over-training if I stay at 2x3. I basically use as tight of a grip as I can without putting too much pressure on the dorsal nerves so each rep becomes more and more intense the more blood I push into my penis. By the end of each set I’m in that territory between really sore and potentially painful. I’m shortening each set by a minute just to be on the safe side. If I find that it’s not enough to stimulate growth or I become conditioned to it I can always bring my time back up again.

My girlfriend is in another state for the next 3 months so having sex isn’t a concern right now, although I have done some jelqing and stretching as a part of sex with her haha. EQ’s not an issue. My concern was whether or not sexual activity on rest days (including masturbation) would hinder the healing process. There seems to be a couple different views on rest days, but for now at least I’m gonna err on the side of caution.
