Positive PIs mean that you'll gain?

I haven’t been doing PE for a while since I’m trying to figure out what’s causing the pain down below. So this relates to the little bit of time I’ve spent PEing. I’ve done a couple months here and there but didn’t stick to it.

Back in the fall of last year I started doing PE and right away I was getting positive PIs(better erections, morning wood, increased veins, and better flaccid) but I didn’t really notice an increase in size. Although I only did it for a couple weeks. So, my question is, when you get positive PIs like that does it mean that you probably will gain the more you do it. I know some people are hard gainers. I feel I’m one. Can someone have positive PIs like that and not gain? Or is it an indication you will gain?

Also, I think I was doing shorter jelq strokes and was finding I was getting positive PIs. When I increased to longer jelq strokes I just had neutral PIs. I feel like I could gain better by jelqing quicker. I guess whatever works for you right?!

The ultimate positive PIs are growth and better erections. Growth is the positive PI that you have not had yet.

If you haven’t stuck with PE long enough to see gains, it’s hard to say whether shorter jelq strokes or longer jelq strokes are most beneficial.

Good answer. The final word in positive PIs is gains. Better erections are very good indicators.

I think that is you are getting much improved EQ (good thread to read) yet no gains are showing, you are real close to your growth zone and a small adjustment may be all that is needed.

I think (generally) if you are getting great EQ and no growth, you may need to slightly increase the TIME under stress. I recommend small incremental increases with a week at least to see if growth starts, before you bump it up some more.

It is also possible that you have enough time, but may need to increase TIME off, like add an additional rest day to start growth.

Overall, I think great EQ means you are close to the right combination of stress to recovery to see growth, and small adjustments would probably be far more productive than just completely changing everything.

Think of it more like negative PIs mean that you won’t.

Right. Good way of looking at it Andro. The more negs, the further you are from the growth zone, the more positive PIs the closer you are to it.

Only you can steer yourself precisely into it. Some guys have a wide berth to drive into, some really narrow.

I wrote the EQ thread to help fine tune the process, once you are in the positive PI zone. Its like an explaination of the subset of positive PIs.

Another good way to look at it is that positive PIs mean you are exercising healthfully and negative PIs mean you are not exercising healthfully. If you continue to exercise and get negative PIs, that’s when PE stops becoming a healthy habit and starts becoming a dangerous one.
