Hey guys, I’ve been lurking for a while, but it’s my first post.

I started doing some stretching and doing dry jelqs 3-4 days a week about a month or so ago, and prior to that I measured five and a quarter inches in erect length. Tonight I measured and I was just shy of five inches! This has me a little freaked out for obvious reasons. I just ordered a ProExtender earlier today, which is why I decided to measure. Any thoughts, tips or advice? Also any experience with the proextender would be nice to hear about, because I’ve heard it can be a bit tricky getting it set just right.

I don’t have any experience with the proextender but it you are measuring at a smaller size then there is a good chance that it is a case of over-training and doing too much too soon. How many stretches and jelqs are you doing to far? You may need to re-evaluate how much you are doing of them and look into perhaps doing a little less for a little while longer. With only a month under your belt, you definitely want to make sure you take things at a somewhat slower pace.

Well I don’t have a standard routine that I do each time. I do 30-50 dry jelqs usually about twice a week. Then I just do manual stretches anywhere from ten to thirty minutes 3 or 4 times a week. I usually hold the stretches 10-20 seconds at a time. At least once a week I wrap after stretching to prevent turtling.

I’ve done some wet jelqs, but only three times, and about 50 each time.

Also I should note that I didn’t measure flacid length before, but lately my flacid hang appears longer, if only slightly.

I’m a little worried this has happened to me also. Does the length come back?

I am wondering if it could be normal length and girth fluctuations people have written about. This seems to happen in the growth process but the fluctuations do not seem to last long.

How long have these “loses” been in place?

Are you sure it’s a loss and not a fluctuation?

I know how frustrating the length fluctuations can be. Just keep in mind that there could be several indicators for these fluctuations.

Have you gained weight in the last month? The body fat percentage is important in my opinion. The lowerbelly/fatpatch is where we men get our body fat the fastest..

If you measure during PE, your can have a different outcome from when you measure when you havent done PE.. So make sure that when you measure, its always under the same conditions.

Apart from this, I get better results focussing on good heated wet jelqs than stretching. Hope this helps you beat the frustration ;)

I noticed that with manual stretches I had the same problem—normally measure 5.75 nbp, but would start to measure 5.5, etc. Freaked me the hell out, so I stopped stretching. My length came back, and so will yours. I suggest cutting your stretch time in half, that’s what I’m going to do. Also, my unit retracted slightly on days that I stretched—try measuring on an off day where you have not done any PE.

Dry jelqs can make you temporarily smaller because fatter. Measure your girth in 2-3 points before and after and you’ll notice a trade off between girth and length.

Hey guys, thanks for the input. I had done some PE not too long before I measured, so I’ll try measuring again tonight or tomorrow without doing stretches.

I don’t believe I’ve gained any weight, and I’m fairly thin anyway.
