I am currently doing jelq and pumping. I am very happy so far. I had some very quick gains, about .125 to .25 for length and girth.
As long as EQ remains very positive, I continue to experiment and add elements to the routine. I will dry jelq for 5 minutes any time I use the bathroom and do stretches in the morning.
It all depends on how you feel. Watch your EQ as an indicator for over training. Personally, I am looking forward to add consistent clamping. I am not sure how I will fold that in, but will certainly use a newbie routine to start.
Note, I haven’t come across it in the mainly threads I have read so far, but I am having great success with applying Bio Oil used for stretch marks and for keeping skin tissue nice and elastic. You can pick up a bottle for about $7. I apply at least twice a day. It feels great and smells nice as well.
Also for good recovery that I find helps keep gains and keep good overall shape is wrapping. This is deceptively simple, but should be done many times to learn how to get the best tightness and mild traction, while being cozy enough to wear for some hours.
There is another element I am quite pleased with, I will describe here. It is kind of a light clamping effect. What is nice is that you can go for hours. I take a hair tie and break it. Then I re-tie using a square knot. This is to shorten up and also add the knot strategically to place directly over the top vein when placed over the base of the cock and balls. If you pull the balls through, the band hugs very close to the pelvis and provides the right level of compression.
So, to the original question, I am in total favor of a jelq and pump routine. I feel great with it now and looking forward to experiments with other elements.
