Rice sock works better if wet

Rice sock works better if wet

In the past, I always used a dry rice sock that I throw in the microwave.

If the dunk the sock in water first, drained excesses water out, would this be better?

Also, which method would be a better warm up?

Rice sock? Or warm towel?

Codeevil, I actually stumbled on this by mistake one day while laundering my rice sock. I was in a hurry to get started with my exercises so I removed the rice sock from the dryer while it was still damp. It gives an excellent, more even heat, and it seems to penetrate a little better. That has been my experience anyway.

I’m not really sure that getting a rice sock wet is a very good idea. The rice will absorb the water and create a perfect environment for the growth of mold and bacteria.

A little moisture is okay, but I’d be careful about getting it too wet.

Take your time, pick a simple routine you can stick to, and be consistent in your efforts. Patience is the key.

Damp heat does penetrate far more efficiently than dry heat. Less heating time is needed and the heat passes into the deeper tissues of the penis. However, a rice sock is not the best way to apply damp heat, as Mjolnir points out above.

The best thing is to go to your local drugstore/chemist and buy a microwaveable gel heat/cold pack. (Buy two. Everyone should have one in the freezer in case of sprains or strains anyway as well as their PE one. They are cheap. )

These should not be used directly against the penis (they will stick; ouch), so wrap a thin damp cloth (T shirt material/dishcloth etc.) around your penis and apply the gel pack over that.

Before I started using an IR lamp, I used gel packs for years. They are excellent.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

What I have is not actually a rice sock. It is a product called a “cozy buddy” and is actually made for heating sprains and muscle pulls etc. I just call it a rice sock because it is easier than explaining this every time. As for bacterial growth in a true “rice sock”, that is a very good point.

Moist heat always works better.

But you must admit that the link was funny.
