Routine change after 2 months

Routine change after 2 months

I’ve been doing PE for over 2 months and I seem to have stopped gaining. My routine was: 5 mins warm up, 12 mins stretching, 10 mins jelqing, kegels. I’ve gained 0.276” EG and 0.39” EL (but I think length gains are a measurement error, I’m not sure because it doesn’t look bigger). I had to take 1 week off because I didn’t have the time to PE and I seem to have gained 0.198” EL during this break. Is this I sign that I was overdoing it? These 2 months I didn’t notice any change in my morning wood (I had very good morning wood before PE). That’s why I’m not sure if I over-trained. Should I continue with this routine?

Morning woods are not a good indicator of overdoing. If you loose your morning woods doing PE you are more accurately killing your dick than overdoing. Gains during break may be considered as a result of slight overdoing, but not serious one (happens easily to everybody) and that is why it is wise to keep short breaks like 2- 3 days now and then (+ standard off days) and longer ones if necessary.

You can increase your routine slightly when necessary (check link in my signature).

What do you mean “killing”? I rarely get morning wood at all so this statement is very disconcerting to me.

Well, it is so if you get morning woods without PE, but not when you do PE. Of course it cannot be used as a indicator if you don’t get morning woods in natural state.

What I meant saying “killing” was, that if your routine is so hard, that it affects to your ability to get erection in any way, it is way beyond too hard. Of course your penis feels different (at least mine) when it is healing, but it shouldn’t prevent anything. Of course you can be also on the edge about getting or not getting morning woods and if then when you are healing you don’t get morning woods it is not as bad if bad at all. Anyway it depends, you are the judge.

Also many other things besides too much PE can take away morning woods, such as stress, not enough sleep and so on and some people don’t get ever morning woods.

You only have a morning wood when you wake up during REM sleep.

I don’t believe that’s true. I wake up with wood regularly, at about 6:30 a.m., long past REM.

You get several cycles of REM sleep during your sleep. 4 or 5 is most common. People who don’t wake up with a morning wood are usually people who don’t use a alarm to wake up.

I don’t know why, but my dick seems to be standing more or less every time I wake up no matter of how or when I wake up. Maybe my dick stands up all night.
