It’s a common occurrence from over doing PE I think, but it’s not something you want to happen.
If a scab is forming it’s because the skin integrity as been broken, which is potentially really dangerous if it gets infected.
If you’re of Black African ancestry, there’s a bigger than average risk of this kind of repetitive injury creating keloid scaring.

I would stop PE until it heals and keep it clean and sterile.
