Should I be sore after workouts?

Should I be sore after workouts?

I’ve just started week 4 of the newbie routine. I’ve upped the intensity because it wasn’t hurting. During week 3 I changed to 7.5 minutes of stretching (up from 5 min) and approximately 12 minutes of jelqs (from 10).

In addition to no gains, I don’t feel soreness. Is this normal? How do I know if I’m working it hard enough?

Also was that too soon to up intensity?

Starting stats (5/9/18): NBPEL: 5.5" MSEG: 4.5" (with cock ring)

Short Term Goal: NBPEL: 6.3" MSEG 4.8"

Long Term Goal: NBPEL: 6.5" MSEG 5.25"

Personally I think you are fine. Right now you are introducing your cock to PE. Pain in general is something you should avoid. In PE there are fast gainers and slower gainers, regardless, I would not think in terms of immediate gains, but rather keep doing exactly what you are doing. Slowly building up the volume of work.

Another thing that you are learning about right now is the balance between intensity and rest. This is not something that one immediately finds, but rather develops a feel for over a fair amount of time of practice. I’m almost four years in and still tuning my rhythm and balance here.

Don’t worry about feeling worked right now and if you do, you will need to match that worked feeling with equal rest to ensure proper healing time, this could be 24 to 48 hours.

You will see vets around here that are doing very extreme forms of PE at high levels of intensity. These guys have punched the clock for many years and have maxed out gains using the more traditional forms of PE.

I am more conservative in that I don’t expect fast gains, but rather see PE as something that must be done for years and over those years consistency will lead to incremental gains that build to something greater.

Keep pushing forward, be consistent, and practice safe PE.

Its a written rule that it should not hurt. I understand what you want. You want to feel that what you are doing is working and some sort of pain (like sore muscles after working out) would tell you it is working, but PE doesn’t work like that. You did up your intensity a bit early, yes. Increases should be done gradually otherwise you build strong ligs and a strong dick instead of a long one. Trust in the process, stay consistent and be patient. Its a marathon, not a sprint.
