Should You Focus In One Direction First(ie Girth Or Length?

As the title states, whats the general consensus as to whether try and grow both ways at once or focus on one first then the other? I did the newbie routine a while back and didnt see much change other then maybe slightly better EQ however pumping in a smaller tube gave me some good length gains at first.

Was packing it fast and switched to a bigger tube to focus on girth which is what i most want. Got pumping up to 1 hour and did that for a few months with no real progress but recently started clamping after the pumping and am up to 1 or 2 10 min sets after pumping. Been really consistent with two days on 1 day off and finally have been seeing some girth growth over the past 4 or 5 weeks. I am at 6.85-7” BPEL and 13CM girth. Now with the steading clamping its between 13.2-13.3CM. Those measurements are before i do anything each time I do PE.

Most likely not permanent gains yet just residual from the previous sessions as it swells between 14.-14.8cm at the end of the two sets so I am guessing by the next day or if im on a rest day it still hasn’t gone fully back down. Hoping with time it becomes permanent. Anyways my question is should I just stick to whats giving me results now and try to hit my girth goal first(15.5cm) or buy am extender and try to use it as well to try and get to 7.5-7.75” which is eventually my goal. Between the two I much prefer girth then length.

If you want girth before length, then stick to your pump/clamp routine. You can always use an extender later on. Whatever works for you, and what you want - there’s no right or wrong.

I read on here that you want to go for length first because more girth will make it difficult to see length increases.


9/4/2021: BPEL 6", Girth 4.5"

Currently: BPEL 6.25", Girth 4.5"

Goal: NBPEL: 8", Girth 6.5"

I’m not sure it makes a difference. My starting girth was 5.5”. Did not slow my length gains.


BPEL: 5.5" --> 7.9" ; BPFSL: ~5.6" --> 8.5"

I guess my question can be distilled down to, if i am pumping and clamping 4 to 5 days a week and finally making small but hopefully significant gains in girth will adding another 4 or 5 days of being in an expander slow and or stop my girth gains? I dont actually care if I never gain more length as Im ok with being right around 7” bpel but I really want to add 1” or so of girth. If I can do both wouldn’t mind adding an inch in girth to get to 8x6.
