Smoking and PE

I am pretty new to the world of PE and have been reading a lot of of the threads here but cannot find anything on weather smoking will seriously hinder progress. I’m 23 and have been smoking since I was about 17 ( disgusting habit I know and I’m currently cutting down to quit I’m at 3 cigs a day). I would consider myself pretty unfit and I am working on that started power walking with jogging intervals, but I was wondering if my past smoking habits and diminished lung capacity will affect my circulation enough to greatly hinder my PE progress?

You can’t have but guesses on this. Mine is that it will not hinder gain in length, but could hinder gains in girth. Beside that, it is proven enough that smokin is bad for erections, so what the point would be in having a bigger but flaccid penis?

FYI, I’m a heavy smoker.

Thanks Marinera for the speedy response!

Unfortunatly it is especially girth that I am wanting to gain, do you think that if I stop smoking and start excersize regularly that will increases my likelyhood of obtaining girth gains? Or would the damage that I have already done be enough to greatly hinder my gains? Being a smoker yourself how did this affect your gains?

I’m a smoker too and this topic comes up a lot. There’s no way to tell how, or if, smoking had an effect on our gains but I think quitting could only be a real benefit for us. General health risks and expenses aside, I’ve seen a lot about smoking as a leading cause of impotence and smoking having an effect on length.

Yes I would offer an opinion that quitting smoking and exercising will contribute to overall cardiovascular health and should really impact getting maximum girth. It’s just a very difficult addiction to break. So if you’re at a point where you have a real chance of quitting, I think it would be a great benefit to your PE.

The latter question is about impossible to answer: I should be able to compare my ‘smoker gains’ with my ‘non-smoker gains’, if you get what I mean.

I think that stopping smoking and starting regular exercise will have a beneficial effect on your erections - maybe not right now that you are so young, but later in life that could make a big difference. I think that will increase the likelyhood of girth gains, yes; I don’t think you have done irreversible damage, even heavy long time smokers have their body cleaned after a few years ceasing smoking, by what I know.

Smoking is bad for overall health, why expose you to this?

I never found that smoking got in the way of gains, but I did get more discolouration and much quicker when smoking. I got red spots more easily too.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Being a smoker myself (and a wanna-bee non-smoker) I think that “I’m currently cutting down to quit I’m at 3 cigarettess a day” is not zero but very close to it.
Smoking less is certainly beneficent for the overall health, so I support Marinera that is it complicated to differentiate between general benefits and PE-specific benefits.
Overall, blood circulation is certainly a main topic in PE.

But: with 3 cigarettes a day consider yourself practically as a non-smoker.
Other influences on lungs and blood circulation are already much more important (polluted air, especially nitrous oxides, tars and sulfur) depending on where you live and breathe compared to 3 cigarettes per day.

Wishing you good gains and great EQ

My logbook: Richard65 - the roadbook

Once you stop smoking entirely, your body will repair it”s self quite rapidly and within six months to a year you will be free of the majority of the adverse effects that smoking has had on your system.

Given that you are young will ensure that over time you will recover entirely.

I am a Hypnotherapist and I help people to quit smoking and I see the rapid change stopping has on the health of a person.

Best wishes with PE and with stopping smoking.

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

3 cigarettes a day=smoker. If you don’t quit entirely and continue with the cutting back then you are likely to get back to smoking your full-time amount. Quit entirely, you will be so glad you did. Your body and your unit will thank you for it(ladies too!).

Yeah, 3 cigarettes a day is still a smoker and considering yourself a non smoker then is foolish. Hey, if I only shoot up once a day I’m practically a non-junkie.

Addiction is addiction no matter how mild or bad your habit is. Try quitting and stop wasting your money on cancer sticks. :)

Fact is that only 20 mins after your last cigarette your lungs already starts the process with getting rid of those nasty chemicals.

The biggest cause of impotence in men is smoking.

What good is a big dick if it doesn’t work.

That is the greatest reason to quit.

I quit years ago my Friends who did not guess what no longer works.

Quit as soon as you can.

Live long and enjoy a great sex life.

I would have to agree, I have “QUIT” a couple of times and then the stresses of life gets to me, then I am back to smoking again, I found that the short times I have quit a few weeks into quitting, it was much easier to get an erection, morning woody became a norm again, and I would not have to depend on the blue pill to help me out. Although I still smoke I found drinking Pom Juice helped in using the blue pill less often. I have been using multiple methods of PE, Clamping, Pumping, Stretching, Jelq since 2003 when I started I was at BPEL 5.75 I am now at 7.00, don’t remember girth but now I am at 5.75. Congrats to all you guys that beat the habit I know how hard it is.

Tobacco smoke will reduce nitric oxide production in vascular tissue walls. Nitric oxide activity is then adversely affected in penile vascular tissue. It is therefore not surprising that a defect in NO activity is thought to play a role in the pathogenesis of erectile dysfunction.

Smoking might not affect gains caused by stretching of ligaments and other connective tissue. Smoking does have an ischemic and vasoconstrictive effect on many tissues. It could be expected that tissue recovery is hindered by nicotine and other agents in tobacco smoke.

Stopping your habit could lead to a stronger erection. Stopping smoking will increase your bodies ability of healing tissue. Taking these two factor into consideration it is very plausible that stopping your habit will increase the effectiveness of your PE regimen.

Initial stats; BPEL 8.5 inch, EL 8.3 Inch, EG 6.4 inch. Goal; EL +1 inch, EG: Not a priority. Equal girth along the shaft.

Progress: 5 weeks: BPEL: 8.8 inch. (+7mm) EL: 8.6 inch (+7mm). SL: 8.9 EG: 6.7 averaged out (+4-8mm. Growth though failing to create equal girth along shaft)

What you say sir is the most coherent reason I have heard to explain how smoking is harmful and how it may affect PE, so thank you.

My question is: if you need help to quit, I.e. You are one of the unlucky people that cannot quit cold-turkey, and decide to use something like Chantix, does a drug like this affect PE? Did anyone try to do PE while on Chantix and what was your experience?
