I’ve been doing PE for about 2 1/2 months now, and have gotten some decent gains. I feel I’m ready to try some more advanced exercises. I haven’t gotten around to getting a clamp yet, but I’ve been experimenting with simply tying a sock tightly around my base at full erection to get a clamp-like effect. It’s a little tricky to set up because it tends to twist when you tighten it, so you have to be very careful not to pinch the skin. The longest I’ve left it on is 10 min while edging. Also, since it may take up to 10 seconds to loosen it, it could be dangerous if there suddenly was a problem. I wouldn’t recommend anyone trying this unless they have strengthened their unit quite a bit and are used to extreme pressure. I don’t want to be responsible for any injuries from this, just want to let people know some of what I’ve been up to (for educational purposes only).

Also, if anyone else has tried this and would strongly advise me to stop, pray tell. Been doing it for a couple of weeks with absolutely no problems and about 0.2” gains in girth. :)

2.5 months is less than the 3-4 bare minimum needed to start clamping. You use a sock to clamp? Don’t, especially like you say, the time to remove it, even at 10 seconds is too long.

You edge, whilst clamped, and you think you’re “used to extreme pressure”? I would say until you’ve clamped for at the bare minimum of a month, dont edge whilst clamped, as you’re begging for injury this way.

The internal pressures created by clamping and massive enough already, but a newbie clamper adding edging to that equation? I can see an injury thread from you soon.

Don’t take this thread as me bashing you (or whatever) as I’m not, but in my opinion you’re heading for an injury, which obviously, is something you dont want!

Slack, I appreciate your advice and your concern. I know that I’m still fairly new at this, but I am very aware of the risks. I tried this sock thing as an experiment, and I don’t intend on making a routine out of it or anything. I am sure the pressure from the sock is nothing like a clamp (I’ve never used a clamp). However, I’m using the sock as a kinda gateway to clamping, and in doing so, have gained girth. So maybe I don’t know anything about “extreme pressure” as far as clamping goes, but I haven’t even come close to injury (well, of course I’ve gotten spotting and temporarily aching ligs, but that’s about it). I’ve been easing my way into PE, and what I’ve been doing recently has been working for ME. I absolutely don’t intend on keeping doing this thing with the sock. I’m just saying that (for me) it’s helped me gain 0.2” girth. Still, I don’t advise anyone here to try this, only because there are many things that could go wrong.
