Some quick questions

First of all I am new to the whole PE routine. I just started on sunday afternoon. I would also like to thank everybody for helping me out so for. This seems like one big happy family.

Anyways, I have started out with doing 100 normal jelqs and 100 overhand jelqs for now. I do this while I am in the shower. My problem so far is that my erection quickly goes from about 70% to 100% once I start. I can only maybe 5 or 6 jelqs in and then I’m at 100%. It’s very annoying. So I masturbated before my 2 sessions thinking this would help. But, it really is about the same even after masturbation. Is there something I am doing wrong or is this normal for beginners? Also, does everybody keep the same routine with 2 days on and 1 off? I feel this is necessary because after 2 sessions my penis feels sore like after a workout. Not a bad sore though. How important is the recovery process for your penis as opposed to the gains of your penis?

Bingo! It’s normal for beginners.

Yeah, do it that way for a while. You can cut out some of the rest days in a couple weeks.

How important is the recovery process for your penis as opposed to the gains of your penis?

This probably depends on the individual, but there are some here who don’t take days off and do OK. Others need them. You’ll just have to see how it goes.

Good luck with the new routine. You’ll get used to the jelqing and the whole 100% erection thing will become controllable. I wish I could keep 75% erect anymore. I’m so used to jelqs that I now have the opposite problem.

Also, learn to notice the signs that you need a day off. Like west said, it is different with everyone. If you are sore, or your erections wane a bit, or your morning wood isn’t as strong, it’s a good bet you need a rest day. I started with the 2on/1off for a bit, but now I do a 5on/2off routine. Keep with the 2on/1off for a while until you feel you can stretch it into 3on/1off or maybe 3on/2off. The biggest thing to remember is that you don’t want to overdo it. Be cautious and err on the side of safety. Injuries in that area are not pleasant. You just need to learn the signs your body gives you (if that makes any sense :) )
