This Works (Dynamic Stretching)

Maybe I am incorrect (possibly from the understanding of how to do a dynamic stretch), but isnt that the same as doing JAI stretches in a sense?

I’d say it similar.

So that I can fully understand Dynamic stretching it would essential just be stretching to the maximum for a short period of time? So if you were doing static stretching you would stretch for lets say 30 seconds, but for dynamic you would pull harder and stretch for only 15 seconds? Am I right?

All I can say is what I described has worked for me and the last time I was 54 years old. I gained 1/2” in about in a very short length of time as I did when I was younger. So maybe dynamic stretching isn’t the correct term. I sure know it isn’t ballistic stretching.

I would pump to the max comfortable pressure then immediately let go. Over and over …

I tried this for the first time last weekend. Since I’m still relatively new to low pressure air pumping, I decided to try this with water since others seem to have less negative PIs with water pumping. It was great: easily packed my tube for the first time, could see the visible stretching when pumping up and no real negative PIs when I was done. It’s a real bummer that my privacy is such that I can’t do it on a consistent schedule. I suspect that this, together with regular manual exercises, is a solid formula for real gains.

How long would it take to do this? You said you’d do around 150 reps, but it takes me around 20-30 seconds to pump to max comfortable pressure. With the time added to release pressure, we are talking about 30-40 seconds per rep in my case. So it would be a 90 minute routine for me. Is that how long your sessions last?

I would do about 50-100 jelq for warmup then got right into it. All told it took about an hour after I got into a routine. I guess it takes some practice at first, but like anything else we get better as we do it more.

Great thread, I’ll be giving this a try next time I break out the pump.

Out of interest, what pressure do you pump up to? I’m sure it varies slightly with every rep, as you use comfort as your indicator, but roughly speaking what HG do you hit before releasing?

I tired this today, but only for 20 mins (I used time, rather counting individual reps). I was getting any bigger after 20 mins, than I was after 5 mins. You said before you needed around 100 reps before getting biiger, is that correct? In which case I take it I shouldn’t be worried about not seeing much difference at the 20 minute mark (roughly 35 reps)?

Did this today. Going to continue pumping like this. I like it for various reasons.
1. I am busy doing something as opposed to sitting around waiting for a timer to tick off, 10 minutes of this went by so fast.
2. It feels much better in general than static pumping, the release of pressure and building back up has a nice sensation. Static pumping for me doesn’t feel as good.
3. Because it feels better, my erection was stronger exiting the tube. Normally is soft.
4. I saw the noticeable stretching in length that others spoke about, but the big deal for me was I packed roughly 1/3 of the tube. Which to me seems like lots of improvement from the 1/4 or less I was packing with static.
5. I was able to increase the Hg beyond 5 without any pain. Made it to about 9 Hg which felt really good and had a huge erection in the tube.

I feel like this gave me a larger erection than static pumps do and it is more active. All good things so far.

Sounds interesting, any red spots or discolouration from it ?

Nope none at all, others may want to chime in on their experience.

I had remembered reading about this type of pumping ( someone previous in thread called it cycling, also had the link ) back before I had my pump. Glad the OP resurfaced the idea.

It’s a good sign that you’re not getting red spots, be interested to see what happens if you continue this.

My first thought is that the short periods of high pressure are breaking collagen fibers rather than stretching them and possibly some of the expansion is inflammation from that.
If that’s the case then the long term result may not be so good !
That is just a guess though and would depend on what your max pressure is.

Thought I would chime in again. I keep an eye on this thread but don’t want to dominate it.

From my experience there have been no bad effects unless it’s over done. As I originally noted usually no doughnut effect either unless you do too many reps. No red spots. I think it’s because there essentially is no hold. As soon as you hit a peak you release the pressure.

It’s been 25 or so years since my first gain at this and about a year and a half since I experimented with it again as described in the OP. Permanent.

I will keep recording some of the details of my penis after routines, but so far I don’t doughnut from this. I used to doughnut if I pumped to about 5Hg and sat there for 45 minutes. This would give me a doughnut if I didn’t take a break and jelq after 30 minutes or so. Sometimes I would get the spongy feeling from static pumping as well, this however hasn’t yielded those results yet. Give me a month to see what sorts of negative PIs can be produced ( for myself ) with this tactic, and then maybe 6 months to see if I get gains from it.

HomerJS said it too, once I hit a high pressure I just release the pump and start going up again. I enjoy slowly building to the higher pressure, so what I do is pump then hold that level of pressure for 5 seconds then pump again. Doing that feels really really good. It is way too early to tell if pumping slowly or quickly is the key to gains, for me it is just funner and feels better. Try whichever if you give this a shot.
