Time under tension vs intensity
Hey All,
I have been thinking about this for extending as there is a similar ideology in body building.
For the past 2 months I have been using a TM vac extender for 3-4 hours per day 5 days a week but at quite a high intensity (almost uncomfortable)
The reason I have been using for only 3-4 hrs is with taping for the vac extender I need to piss throughout the day, re taping after taking it off would be abit too sensitive.
So I thought I better make those 3-4 hrs worth it and go hard, keep in mind I am still careful, yet to come close to any injury.
At the end of the 3-4 hrs I’m counting down the minutes though haha.
I have noticed some other users using the extender for 6-8hrs per day but at a lower intensity using a noose style extender so no tape or less tape needed, so you would have the freedom to take off and then back on within seconds and with ease.
And I have also noticed others using ADS for 10-12 hrs I guess at a lower intensity.
So what is the recommended path of action based on your anecdotal experience and your knowledge of clinical literature on TP?
Rack up the hours at a lower intensity?
Go hard but in short bursts?
