To hang or not?

Hi there!

I started PE 6 months ago. Been doing the manual stuff only. (stretching, dry and wet jelqs and Ulis).
Everything is fine except the bloody stretching. Ever since I started I found it very difficult to do it. My penis is very soft when flaccid, so it hurts like hell to grab it with an OK grip and pull. I tried using baby powder and it does help a bit, but just a bit. Just wondering if perhaps I should start hanging. Is it gonna be easier (less painfull)? If any of you experienced the same problem, how did you deal with it? Thanks for your help!!

I hated stretching for so long that I really didn’t do it. I kind of overcompensated with jelqing and got decent gains but I feel as if I could have gotten more if I had stretched properly. Now, I started stretching for real about 7 months ago and after experimenting a lot with grips and aids I finally found what works for me. (Being uncircumsized I was at first too sensitive to get the proper grip.) First, I think that splitting your stretching into two shorter session is key if you have problems getting motivated. This will lessen the hurting caused and will, hopefully, not be detrimental to progress. It’s also easier to fit into any given day. Second, get some soft toilet paper and use it for your grip. This will allow you to keep the girp longer without causing too much pain (other that in your ligs).

I stretch for 20 minutes at a time and change direction every minute. The grip can get uncomfortable and pinch the skin occasionally. I use baby powder now and that seems to help. Baby powder allows for less slippage which means I don’t have to squeeze as hard. I have tried tissue paper but that hurt worse. I also make a hanger (a Capt’s Wench) but that hurt, too, so I don’t use it. I’m still searching for the magic gripper. Good luck in your search.

This is not exactly conventional, but while I’m submerged in the hot bath, I use a traction wrap, and then noose a dog chain safely away from the glans, and pull with the other loop end. The chain has a great grip, and this way, you can keep constant warmth while pulling with a fair amount of force without it slipping.

BTW, the dog chains are found at PetSmart or any animal supply store I believe.

Thanks Sex&Guns. But doesn’t the chain qualify as a noose style of gripper?

Noose = bad.

Or, do the links allow enough blood flow and not risk damaging the nerve bundle in your opinion?

When I manually stretch I try to exert the pressure on the sides of my penis to avoid the nerve bundle.

It sort of has a bib action grip, not entirely. I go from 90 second to 120 second bursts, and then massage so the chain link bumps reform to normal looking skin after a short time. Again, not the most conventional method, but an idea if all else fails.

I use my Cappys Wench for manual stretching. YOu should look into it bro. I can apply so much force with it on that it’s not even funny.

Say “Yes” to hanging, it’s effortless (well pretty much anyway). Combined with other PE methods, you’ll do well.

Yes, you are right. I have experimented with hanging and stretching. The hanging I had to break from, the time combined with stopping and starting new sets was getting out of hand.

Besides, a dog chain should not surprise you, especially coming from a guy who hung 30 pounds bareback once to “save time”. My junk looked like a taco salad that just ran through a blender.

I also hate manual stretches. The tip of my glans would always bruise from the squeezing. It was also damn boring and a pain in the ass (IMHO).

Now I use a Bib Hanger. It takes 2 or 3 weeks to warm up to the Bib. Proper wrapping is essential. There may be some discomfort during the first month regardless of the quality of the wrap as the skin on your penis is stretched. Kind of an “Indian burn” feeling.

I’m about 2 months into hanging now, and I have little to no discomfort. Sometimes I feel some skin abrasion or burning, but I immediately remove the hanger and re-wrap, and the problem is immediately solved.

Hanging with the Bib takes some practice to get right, but it quickly becomes very easy. I especially enjoy the ability to multitask (like responding to this post while hanging).

Thanks for all the replies. I’m definitely giving it a try. Now, where can I buy the parts. Always hear about people going shopping down the Walmart, but as I’m in the UK that’s not an option. Can I get it off the Web? I thank you for all the help!!
