Well, it’s been 6 months since I started with the newbie routine and worked my way up to a longer sessions etc., and almost 2 months now since I joined Thunders with my original post, “a tale of woe, a cry for help” — and despite following much of the great advice I’ve gotten directly from other members, Gimli and Panos and others, and indirectly from reading old threads — despite all the information on this great site — I’ve still experienced no erect gains whatsoever. Six months of PE altogether, starting with Newbie routine and working my way up, and 2 months or so at Thunders…and no erect gains at all. None. Zero. Zilch. I’m still at about 5.5 with a normal erection, maybe 5.75 when very erect, 6.25# BPEL, just like I was when I started.

Flaccid gains, yes, I have seen those, but I suspect they would go away if I stopped PE. That is one of the cons of stopping. The pros would be: 1) I’d stop obsessing about my dick and maybe be happier overall, 2) I’d have more time for other things, 3) oh, who am I kidding, I still want a bigger dick, and maybe taking a deconditioning break (ah, but for how long?) is really what I need. Let’s say I wasn’t doing PE quite right at the beginning, but still managed to condition my penis enough to make gaining a bit more difficult than it would have been in the beginning (if I’d been doing everything correctly); maybe I need to start fresh with a deconditioned dick?

Here’s my latest routine.

5 min. warmup

10 min. 30 second stretches

pumping (following routine from Pumping 101 thread, now doing two 15 min sessions per day, with at least 20 min break between pumpings, low pressure)

3 min warm

variable jelq (anywhere from 50-300 jelqs depending on time available)

5 min warmdown.

— and 2 or 3 five minute stretching sessions throughout the day.

Was doing 5 days on, two days off. (Sex about 5 or 6 times a week, which I mention in case that’s a factor.)

Found this was a bit much, was making me sore, affecting erection quality, so I cut back, took a short break, and am now doing a scaled back version of the above routine, with more rest days, but hey, whatever, the upshot remains: NO GAINS!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Try stretching for 15-20 minutes, 20seconds each stretch. Jelq for 15-20minutes 60-90%, then pump. Mix up the schedule try 3 on 1 off, or 3 on 2 off etc. Increase you intensity. Take a deconstructive break of about 4-6 weeks. Keep changing up your routine to shock your penis.

I vote for a 2 month decon break. And put aside your pump. Pumping seems to work for some guys, but I wouldn’t say it’s a tried and true exercise that works for everyone.

When you come back, focus on stretching and jelqing. Start very easy, say, 10 minutes stretching (easy) and 10 minutes jelqing (lightly). Add some time and intensity each week. This should be done gradually. After about 6 weeks, you should be up to 20 minutes stretching (intensely) and 500 or so intense jelqs.

Do your routine 5 times per week. Take 2 days off, preferably weekends. The key to gains, in my experience, is to progressively increase intensity and/or time and to get enough rest.

Other good advice is to eat well, sleep well, avoid too much caffeine and alcohol.


Enter your measurements in the PE Database.

I have sex once a week and don’t masturbate.. Maybe it’s helped my gains.

Also study the tutorials very carefully, go back to jelqing, jelq steady but slower 3-5 seconds build up to 5-10 second strokes. Take a day off between sessions. Remember their are substances that can hinder gains. Antihistamines is one. To much beer. Stress, bad nutrition.

I am sorry to hear that you are a bit down because of your lack of gains. It makes me feel bad. But, six months isn’t really a long time at all. Give it a bit more time and hopefully you will have some surprises, good surprises.

I agree with ModestoMan and aom91. Take a break for awhile and then when you come back, concentrate on Stretching and Jelqs and increase their times, reps, and intensity over a period of time. I also agree with kingpole that you should do your jelqs with slower, longer strokes.

I may have to take the same advise since I have had no gains in length or girth (Flaccid or Erect) since June 7th. I had those early gains spurts during the first 8 weeks, which was very exciting and extremely gratifying. But, all gains have now ceased and in the 3+ weeks since my last measurements, there have been no gains at all.

My disappointed now is felt more intensely, since I do know how it feels to have gains. I just hope I can cement what I now have and that the future will again bring new gains for me. However, there is no way that I am going to give up now!

Panos, that hasn’t been suc a long time, I wold say that is a plateau so easily. It hasnt even been a month with no gains yet. IMO, continue you’re routine as usual and if you see no gain by end of July or August, then take the decon break.

I didn’t realise that antihistamines inhibited gains, does this relate to any particular group of antihistamines or antihistamines in general. Plus, do you or any other members have evidence to back this up.

It’s not that I doubt you but I HAVE TO take cetirizine everyday, so obviously I’m a bit concerned.

Yep, aom91, I remember reading about Ironhammer’s Challenge and thought it might be fun to join in, But, at the time I was not ready to submit pics, which is still the same today, and since that had to be done for proof, I didn’t sign up. Maybe some day I will be less inhibited. :dissap:

I’ve still have great motivation, so there is no way that I am going to give up on PEing just because of a little setback. It’s just that I wish my gains had taken a bit longer to obtain. It was too much too soon!

Yesterday I started using Monty’s peweights. I really like them and they are VERY comfortable to wear. Maybe not so much under clothes out in public yet, but around the house I’ve found them very wearable. I don’t remember who said that hanging was good after a pumping session, but that’s my plan. It may have been supersizeit. Anyway, after my last set of 10 min. pumping sessions, I wore 3 of the 10oz peweights for about 1-1/2 hours. At present it is pretty difficult to get “all 3 of the weights on my short fellow”, but, in time when I gain some extra length it will be a lot easier and quicker to put on.

I didn’t realize that antihistamines inhibited gains. Wow! Is this really true?

This year has been my worst year in years for allergies. They have been so bad in the last month or so that I have absolutely been LIVING on BENADRYL capsules!

Could this be why I have all of a sudden stopped gaining after such a good start? Well, I can’t stop taking Benadryl, since I just wouldn’t be able to get buy without them.

If this is true, what a f*****g bummer! :(

Thanks to all those who responded with advice; you guys are great.

How do antihistamines inhibit gains? I really wonder about statements like these. They also say caffeine hinders gains and green tea helps or has no effect, yet the green tea leaf has caffeine in it. From what I understand about antihistamines is that they just disrupt the histamine receptors that make my nose and eyes lose control . Please explain to me how this has an effect on my penis. I am very very curious.
