Your advice on extra room in cylinder?

I know there are threads explaining how to size a cylinder for a penis, but I have been wondering if there are advantages to having very little room or more room in the cylinder (both in girth and length). Also, I have never felt that my measurements of my penis are very consistent or precise, and I think I have gained a little bit since buying my cylinder too.

I have read that narrow cylinders can be better for increasing length, but this question goes beyond that.

Imagine a person whose penis is 7 inches BPEL and 8 inches and packing the width of a 9 inch cylinder after 20 minutes of pumping. There would be 1 inch of air at the end of the cylinder. Or imagine the person gains to 7-1/2 inches BPEL so that the pumped length is 8-1/2 inches and there is only 1/2 inch of air at the end. Is that good or bad?

It seems to me that the pump would not need to work as hard if there is less air at the end, because the target vacuum could be reached with less air removed. Whereas if a person with 7-1/2 inches BPEL switched to a 12 inch cylinder, then the pump would be working harder - especially if the routine is constantly pumping and releasing vacuum.

I hope I am not annoying people with too many questions, but I have been thinking about this lately. Right now I have plenty of room, but I wonder when I should be concerned.

As many people who buy cheap every size cylinders from ebay find out: the problems with oversized cylinders are that your balls get sucked up into the cylinder and it’s a lot harder to get a decent seal which is lucky considering the former problem.

I bought LeLuv’s wide flange cylinder hoping that might help I don’t know if it makes a difference, because that’s the only cylinder I have used much. It still feels like it is crushing one of my testicles sometimes if I’m not careful to position it just right before pumping.

I usually stretch my balls and scrotum while I’m lubing up in prep for pumping. Helps keep them out of the way.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

And no, a pump with a 12” cylinder will not wear out before a pump with a 9” cylinder. Pump killers tend to be getting fluid internal to the pump, which destroys the diaphram, or dropping them.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I learned about the moisture issue a week ago when I tried to wash my cylinder without disconnecting the pump. I have a weak grip, so the quick connector is difficult for me. I thought I would try leaving it connected and wasn’t really thinking carefully. No more electric pump.

Those who are mechanically inclined have had success repairing/rebuilding damaged pumps. I am very mechanically inclined and I failed in the effort.

I have about an 1-1/2 of room in a 9 inch cylinder at maximum stretched length.

Could a person safely and effectively use a 9 inch cylinder if the maximum stretched penis length is almost 9 inches?

Length only becomes a problem when the glans touches the opening at the top of the cylinder and gets sucked in when pumped.

Water pumping is the only advice and recommendation I have. I wouldn’t mind a bit more water length on each of my 2 cylinders to get more water in.

Stop setting goals, set objectives without limitations.

5.5 NBPEL Start~~ 5.7 NBPEL- 2011 ~~ 5.75 NBPEL/ 4.25 EG 2012 (Stop 11 years- Started again 4/2023 same stats as 2012)

6.25 NBPEL / 6.75 BPEL / 4.75 EG (5 EG w/ C-Ring over ball & shaft) / Grower 4 FL - 4/2024 ~~ (Objective 6.75 NBPEL / 7.25 BPEL / 5.25 EG & Solid EQ)

Never. Pump on. When you reach the vacuum orifice, get a longer tube.

O.k. that’s what I was planning to do, because I don’t want to switch to the 12 inch cylinder. It seem like it would kind of awkward. If my 9 inch cylinder can handle 8 inch BPEL then it will probably never need to be replaced for length. Maybe I will replace it for greater width if I start trying for that later.

I have heard mixed reviews on water pumping. I guess the warmth of the water probably helps. I don’t understand never having tried it myself.

Makes sense. Thanks.
