ADS Tension / Weight Question???

ADS Tension / Weight Question???

Typically, how much tension (how many pounds of pull) would you have on an all day stretcher?

I think this would depend on the individual. But, a traction force of 1 to 2 lbs would be in the right neighborhood for an ADS. You want to feel a good stretch in the ligs at the base but no pain.

Hey 6To8!

It’s pretty difficult (if not close to impossible!) to measure the force of traction when using an ADS. About the only way I have found to do it is by feel alone. If anyone has found another, reliable way, I’m all ears! There are several ways to keep a rough check on the amount of traction you are using, but measuring the poundages reliably, has so far, for me, been elusive.

One thing I have found to be useful is to use less rather than more traction. The reason for this is that time does the work and the effects tend to build over the hours you use it. If I use too much traction I have found that I can only wear it for a couple of hours maximum, which sort of defeats the whole purpose of an ADS - you want to keep it on for as long as possible to keep the tissue stretched.

For me, what works best is to keep the initial stretch lighter and very comfortable - nothing challenging - just a nice tug. Because later in the day, mark my words, things can be very different!

Experiment at home first.

"Pertinaciously pursuing a penis of preposterously prodigious proportions." What a mouthful!

Say you make an ADS device that uses an elastic strap or rubber tubbing to apply the tension. To find the weight applied you can fill a 16 oz cup with water and make a handle on the cup with a string or something so you can fasten the elastic or tubbing to it with a clip. Then you would pull on the strap until you lift the cup off the surface it was sitting on. Then you would measure the distance from one end to the other so you can get the length of stretch for 16 oz with that piece of material. When you use that piece of material you would then fasten it to what ever you have on your penis and stretch it the length you measured and you would then have a force very close to 16 oz or 1 lb.

That's a good idea!

I guess you could also attach a plate weight (less messy than cups of water!) to the end of the traction strap, mark the strap with a pen where it lines up with your leg strap. Do this a few times with different weights and you’ve got your own scale! Not exact, but a lot better than nothing at all - or going by feel!

Now we’re getting somewhere!

Ya… then you can start your ADS workout at the high notch and work down as time goes on. At least you will have a good estimate on the weight your using.

Do those leg strap systems really work?
