Benefits of Heat in PE

That´s pretty interesting, because while jelqing I felt my hands very warm, to the point of discomfort. Maybe I´ll end up with tanned hands also. Actually, that could be a recognizable mark of PE adepts, just as masonic handshakes, tanned hands due to overexposure to IR lamps :)

I’m inclined to think the only recognisable thing would be the big trouser bulge. Maybe you’d look at the person and wink like ‘Yeah I know’. Haha of course it could be natural and he’d think you’re coming onto him.

Figured this is the best thread to ask this question so, I am curious about the different types of penetration some lamps make. How am I supposed to find out what one goes how far? Usually it just says 150W, 250W etc but nothing about how far it penetrates, surely there can’t be that much variation or it would be a different kind of light? Last question- does it matter what type of bulb I put inside the lamp? Most of the lamps seem to come with 150W bulbs, are these better or worse than 250W?

The wattage doesn’t affect the penetration. As you point out, IR light is IR light, and is the best type to penetrate and warm tissues. Most other common bulbs/wavelengths of light will only heat superficially.

150W Infrared is definitely my personal choice. Anything larger and you end up sitting further away, which just means a far larger area than necessary gets heated, and your body has to deal with all that excess blood being heated, which can get uncomfortable.

I’m using a clear 125 watt IR bulb in a plain aluminum construction lamp. It feels like it is warming my tissues enough. I’ve used it for about 5 pe sessions. I have to place my penis about 5 to 6 inches below the bulb to feel it warming the tissues quickly. If I place it further, I still feel the tissues being warmed, but not quite as quickly.

The sales person at the light bulb store in Austin thought for sure that I wanted to use the bulb to grow some ganja indoors. I told him that it was for warming tissues of the body. I was so tempted to tell him that is was for penis enlargement, but I didn’t do it.

Hey I discovered something with my rice sock that I would like to share…

If you put it in one of those zip lock freezer bags it keeps the steam in and from burning your dick. I just put it in the Microwave for two minutes in the plastic bag and then stuff it in my pants for 15 minutes or so before my work out. The lamp is a great idea for keeping it warm throughout the workout. Ignore the heat at your own peril, I spent two years learning this one the hard way. Heat is a must for any length gains IMHO.

Ah ok cool, so 150W bulb is good enough. Since I’m mainly doing pummping at the moment I was thinking of just using a normal rice sock to warm up, do pumping with a heat pad wrapped around- 3 sets of 10mins. Then the next day do a gentle fulcrum stretch over a vitamin pot or something with the intra red heat pointed on top of the stretch for maybe 30 mins then put on an ADS for about 10 hours. Next day rest then repeat cycle. Does this look like a generally viable routine?

You know what you have done in the past and how it has worked. If that routine is what you think will suit you, try it for a while and if you gain, it’s a good routine for you. I would always include some light jelqing into any routine.

Thanks firegoat, I was just wondering if that is similar to what some other successful guys have done- stretching it under infra red and then allowing it to cool in an extended state is generally thought to be the recipe right? I know that everyone is different but I’m hoping that there are some successful similarities!

Okay so I’m struggling with the IR lamp a bit. I have a good lamp, 150W bulb and I stand about 20 cm away from it to warm up. I have always used a rice sock and it usually made me really flaccid and pliable so I could stretch comfortably. However with the IR so far my penis seems to almost get semi-semi erect, its starting to fill with blood, doesn’t feel pliable when i stretch it but it doesn’t get erect either. It just seems like its not really creating the result I was hoping for. Am I doing something wrong? Should I be standing closer or further away? I haven’t had the chance to play around with distances yet but any closer and I feel it would probably be too hot. I was thinking to warm up with a rice sock first and then assume perhaps a fulcrum stretch before turning the IR lamp on- is this something others have done?
