Benefits of Heat in PE

It’s wavelength emission should be the best for deep absorption.

I have it and love it.

That’s the exact bulb I use and I would recommend it. I warm up with it and do all my hanging sets under it, it really makes a difference.

Heat benefits

I’ve also noticed the effectiveness of water as a heat source exceeds dry methods.

As you gradually increase the temperature of the water, you can feel the everything begin to relax. I’ve found the need to urinate multiple times throughout a heating session (helps to do this in the shower), which is a great mark in muscle softness.

Anyone else notice this as well?

Hmm I am in Japan

I wonder how I can get that Philips infrared 150W lamp!

Id rather get that than continue with mine, just in case. Id like to be with you guys !

Heat lamp is a really cool idea, thanks.

I use a heating pad, and even drape it over my/apply slight pressure when doing one handed stretches.

I can attest to the benefits of water-heating. The shower is by far one of the best places to PE.

L-Arginine is a PE wonder-supplement!!

Would like to add to this thread is I started off seeing no gains until I started to use heat.

I started using heat while hanging this week, and its good to hear that heat provided a beginning to someone else’s gains too.

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

I monitored today a visible, negative PI from lack of heat.

Neglecting the warmup, whilst pumping today I developed some red spots. Another factor indicating heat was the missing component I did not reach the same expansion as previous sessions.

I will not miss out on using my rice sock again.

A key to success

One thing I have noticed that helps alot when jelqing especially is……………. WARMING UP. Not just any warm up, I mean a warm up that you have put some effort into. I noticed that when I did a no good 20 second warm up that the jelqing I did was pretty useless, well not totally useless but nothing compared to the ones where I have warmed up to get a nice loose penis. So guys my opinion is that without a proper warm up your penis will be a little tougher and will lessen growth but that is just my little theory. It may be absolute rubbish but hey it works for me.

Oh and also after a good warm up I feel that I can put nice slow stokes into my jelq and get beautiful blood flood and it’s just a beautiful sight to witness when striving for big gains :)

There are several (at least) threads on the benefits of a good warm up, and I tend to agree, although I’m not sure what you mean when you talk about it.

I do a 5 minute warm wrap with washcloth(s) using warm water. I will, on occasion, go longer than 5 minutes, as I really judge when to stop warming up based on how I feel the heat throughout my shaft. I’ve seen decreased instances of negative PI’s (bruising) after jelqing by doing this, and I don’t think I’ll ever not do a warm up.

My warm up routine

I warm up before my PE with an infrared lamp. I position it about 10-15 inches away from my penis and I warm up for 10 minutes, massaging at the same time. Then while I do my PE I warm between each repetition for about a minute. I try to warm down down for ten minutes with massages but I have been doing my warm downs in the shower.

Thanks for the info, leviathian, I’ve just made an online purchase of one of these bulbs today. I’ve definitely been noticing that if I try and have a PE workout without warming up, it just doesn’t feel good. My unit feels a lot tighter, and it takes a lot of jelqing to get it loose. I’ve been using a heat pad when I remember, but hopefully the bulb should make it easier. I’ll post some feedback when I’ve used it for a bit.

Ok, so my IR bulb arrived today, but now I just need a lamp with a maximum wattage output to match (150W). I didn’t think about that when I made the purchase … anyone else have that issue before?
