Benefits of Heat in PE

The only issue I have with pumping with cold water is that you do not really get blood flow while in the pump, at least, it is greatly reduced. This is why I have started warming up with hot water in a pump at low vacuum, less transfer of heat back into your body, allowing a temperature change deeper into the tissues.

From what you said, it seems it would make more sense to do a superficial cold such as an ice pack to increase blood flow inside the penis.

I haven’t been actively cooling. I just edge at the end of my session, and after a few minutes, I turn the heat off and keep going for 10–20 more minutes. That way it cools down some while staying engorged.


Why the Smithsonian? Because you could walk around it for a week and not see the whole thing.

From what I’ve read 1mhz units are good for 2-5cm and 3mhz 0.8 to 1.6 cm. This is the only point I’m confused on because I don’t know if that means the 1mhz would literally skip over the first two cm. This doesn’t make sense to me how the energy would skip over the first two cm and only start working after that. If this were true the 1mhz unit would only heat the opposite side and keep the near side cool, which I guess wouldn’t really matter as long as you kept that in mind. If 1mhz reached shallow and deep that could be ideal because they are cheaper (~150) and also because the higher max depth means you’d be able to heat both sides simultaneously which would be helpful to maintain temp. If not then 3mhz would be the better choice but the entry level units seem to be twice as much on ebay. I’ll have to research this a bit more, or maybe a PT on this forum could chime in on the 1mhz range issue and if/why it does/doesn’t affect the first two cm.

Another nice thing about ultrasound is there is research available about the rate of tissue warming which allows more precision of heating. For example this table I copied down from the same site above:

I would still of course add a safety margin and increase very gradually.

As you said: 3 mhz will heat fast and less deep, 1 mhz will heat slow but deeper.

Do you use heat through out the day in addition to just before exercise? Do the additional heating sessions help?

You don’t need to. But an extra heat session during the day would actually be beneficial if you have the time to do it.

If we to assume that “wet heat” is more efficient to heat up deep tissue than “dry heat”, wouldn’t a simple solution would be to first wet a bit the member and then heat it?

I got some water in a glass on my desk, I just drip some on, spread it over and heat it up. Wouldn’t that do the same trick?

Also, adding some moisture to the outside of the rice sock or to the rice directly, etc.

RB you mentioned trying the inexpensive hand warmers which can be found at most dollar stores. I have used these when in my extender. Great for preventing the tip of the penis from going cold from the noose. After in my extender I take a small sock (infant size) place the warmer in it & slide over the device. Without it at most I’d be an hour in the device. With it I can spend several hours. Heat is job #1 when it comes to PE.

I won’t try to explain the physics, but just wetting your penis doesn’t work well.
You could dampen a rice sock, but you’d find it would go mouldy very fast! Better to get a microwaveable gel pack instead of a rice sock, then wrap a soaked then wrung-out piece of cloth around your penis before putting the hot pack on.

When I started using a rice sock for about 15 minutes before my PE sessions not only could I FEEL how the tissues in my penis were more willing to stretch, but I actually started to GAIN length which I had been struggling with for about 2 months. Heat is everything.


Started: 13 Dec. 2018 - 6.25" BPEL x 5.5" MSEG

Current: 13 Mar. 2020 - 7.25” BPEL x 5.75" MSEG

Long-Term Goal: 8.25" BPEL x 6" MSEG

Could you comment on this logic: initial heat can assist with improved elasticity. If at the end of the routine heat was maintained then elasticity was retained. Meaning, as it cools down, due to the elasticity it would contract. Therefor, it might be better to remove the heat and finish routine in a colder environment limiting elasticity.

Regarding the rice sock, I’m doing this now:

1. Take microwave “cover”, wash it while keeping it wet inside the cover.
2. Microwave “cover” for about a minute so water is nearly turned to steam.
3. Microwave rice sock with the “cover” on it.

This basically both directly microwaves the rice sock, spreads out the heat as there’s water on the cover as well and also steams the rice sock, adding humidity.

It works perfectly for me, the rice is not cooked in any way and of course it can just be replaced being cheap enough.

BTW while I was in Japan I saw them using red beans instead of rice.

I usually just stop heat a bit before the end of my routine so my penis is back at body temperature when I finish (but that’s out of laziness rather than for a reason!). However, heat does help the tissues to relax, and often applying heat after your routine will actually leave you with better hang. Heat doesn’t just affect the elastin in the tissues, it increases the extensibility of the collagen in the tissues as well.

As long as you replace the rice often your method may be ok, but rice breeds bacteria very easily, and damp rice breeds mould fast. I’d get a microwaveable gel hot/cold pack if I were you. 🙂

I’ve pretty much settled on this for a heat source outside the tub for while watching tv and stuff during rest periods.
I’m pumping for girth btw
I’d like to know others’ opinions on such things if not this one specifically.

I’ve no direct experience of these but I seem to remember reading on these forums that USB heating pads may not be hot enough/powerful enough.

Fornestruct - Weakning the Tunica through heating a towel by very hot and wrapping it around penis

I’ve seen male masturbators that are heated up to 38C, thought about getting one of these to edge while clamping. Not sure if this is warm enough to have results though.

It’s better to heat up to 40 and slightly more.
