Cable Clamps Useless

I recieved my clamps yesterday, and naturally couldn’t wait to try them out. I wasn’t expecting such a big disappointment. The clamps seem practically incapable of staying closed. I put it on, ratchet it up to a level where there is actually any pressure on my penis - and the things pop open. I try again, and I get a repeat of the previous pilaver.

Have I wasted my money on a set of cheap imitation ones? Or are ALL cable clamps like this? For £3.50 - they are a massive dissapointment.

Somethings wrong with your clamp it’s not suposed to open like that

I mean, for example - I can pull the clamp open with little force. I was hoping you would have to really pull on the ratchet thing to make it open.

The clamps that I have came in a set of 5 - one huge one, and 4 tiny ones. They are all grey, and seem very cheap build quality. Is it worth me buying some from the US?

My medium cableclamps would probably break first if I tried to open them by pulling them apart. Estatic once ordered cableclamps and had the same problem. They must be knock-off or B-choice. Can you tell us where you bought them so others won’t buy the same crappy cableclamps?

I got them from Ebay. They are grey - and come in a bubble-pack with a purple-ish carboard backing. Has the word “Earth” on it in big letters.

I concur with Piet, m2000, not all cable clamps are created equal: you must have got some inferior quality knockoffs.

I concur as well. If anything, mine,(Cable Cuff-Home Depot- $.99 ea ) are sometimes kind of hard to get open. Especially when they’re brand new.

The ones I use, from Home Depot, come with two mediums in a pack (orange or red), a tiny one and a huige one. They never pop open.

Anyone here tried the ones from ?
I ordered the family pack yesterday, so I’m soon to find out if they are any good.

I just ordered directly from the company on their online store at Home and their prices are very reasonable.

I’ve never had any problems with the clamps popping open, and I subject them to a lot of pressure when clamping around my ACE wrap. I’m still using the originals I bought 2 years ago.

Crikey Perforeal I’d hope so. The thought of 20 of those things hanging of my pecker makes me wanna cry. The thought of you wearing out 20 of those critters in a year(?) makes me envious. :-)

I’ve only broken one once. And no, the shouldn’t de-ratchet on their own.

I guess that I´ve got the same set of clamps and I´ve the same problem.

Bad luck man, when I start clamping at least I know to make sure I get good ones now though!
