Can hanging or stretching reduce girth?

I want to gain some length and figure a length only routine is the way to go before I pack on some thickness. Only prob is I heard hanging or intense stretching can stretch out the dick but make it thinner and I dont want to lose the girth gains I have made. My question is does hanging or stretching reduce girth if you are not jelqing?

Not usually, in fact hanging and ADS often increases girth, especially at the base!

I can’t say from experience, but from my readings I think this theory was from the earlier days of pe and somewhat proven untrue through people’s actual pe experience.

Well, from my personal experience, I’ve actually increased girth, mostly at the base but also along the shaft and the only things I’ve done are hanging and ADS. I’ve read of the isolated experience of some who have lost a little girth but most report modest increases in girth.

How often can you stretch or hang? What kind of schedule, i.e. 5 on 2 off or 6 on 1 off? When I reach my length goal can I jump back into the girth stuff or should I ease into it? Is once a day enough stretching? I will be doing it manually. Any particularly good directions to stretch? thanks for all the feedback.

J7 - I don’t know about other people, but I noticed that when I did a routine that was full of stretches (but also had girth exercises) my penis seemed thiner.

I am one of those people that go by feeling for choosing my routines, and when I saw that for a week or two I was looking thinner I decided to stop stretching so much, and now I am concentrating mainly on girth, and planning to come back to stretching and maybe ADS a bit later. Possibly it’s an individual thing..

I know people are saying the right route is length first, girth after, but for me girth is just too essential right here and now!

Braker…if girth is your priority then nothing wrong with going for it first…but don’t you think a week or two is too early to tell what effects your getting from a given routine…also, if you gain some length but girth remains the same, perhaps it may appear to have gotten thinner though it hasn’t?

I think you might be right, though my case is maybe a little different: see I just split up with my wife some time ago, and am coming back to the dating scene after a long long time.

One of the things that give me more confidence is the better girth I’ve gained after 5 months of PE, because girth was what I was always lacking and this was a big part of my low self esteem in sex.

So I guess you might say I’m a little paranoid about girth at the moment, I want it to be the best it possible can and always ready for action, because basically I’m trying to get laid as much as possible!!!

Braker…I hear ya…I’m the opposite being extremely self-conscieous about length but satisfied with my girth…the consensus here is that with more girth it will take longer to gain length but that’s not really an issue for you so jelqing should be right for you it still gives some length while giving the girth you’re looking for.

Do you get sore after you stretched? what was the routine?

J Rock - yeah I know, anyhow - I figure since I’m about 5 inch girth at the moment (I’m not sure exactly where I started but I think it was less than 4.5 maybe even closer to 4) I can still go on with girth and maybe when I’m about 5.5 I’ll start going stronger into length again.

J7 - I didn’t really get sore, but I didn’t like the feeling so much for some reason..

I was just stretching for about 10 minutes, 2 sets of 30 sec stretches in 6 directions. I was using the Power Jelq device for it which was really convenient, and in only about 2 weeks I already saw real improvement in flaccid length.

But at the same time I read a post in the Power Jelq forum of this guy saying that he had some ED problems which he contributed to stretching too much, and since he stopped it got better. Now also the thing with my girth looking worse - I decided to leave it for a while and get back to it later..

However there seem to be loads of guys here that didn’t have any problems with it..

Unless youre name’s Brandon Reece and youre promoting a pay PE site that says “my program’s the best and thou shalt follow no PE programs before mine….” NO, hanging/stretching wont decrease girth and will actually do the opposite. I’ve read the propoganda on his site and a couple others saying things like hanging weights is sooooooo dangerous and it can actually make your penis THINNER (EGAD!)…and showing pictures with penises that have noose type attachments on them with captions above the pictures that say things like “Ouch!”. Then again on the same sites they’re all about manual stretching….they say you can do all of that you like…but, NO weights!! Gawd forbid you get more efficient on yourself! It’s really a mix of covering their asses because they no nothing about the subject of weight hanging and doing it properly and selling THEIR program. I mean if you knew how to use weights and that was all you needed to do …along with perhaps ONE girth exercise….what value would their 40 page manual have?
