Cementing gains.

Cementing gains.

Well, it’s settled. I’m taking a break for now.

Probably a long one.

I need some advice on how to cement what I’ve gotten so far.

"You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts."

I’m a bit fuzzy on the “cementing gains” theory.

LedZep also inquired here.

This seemed to indicate that one needed to PE about 2 weeks past the point of a measured increase to insure what one had gained would be “permanent”.

Not sure of the validity of “cementing” anything. I would suspect, without some degree of maintenance work, that some gains would inevitably be lost.

Postatem obscuri lateris nescitis.

I see.. well, I’m going to continue some LIGHT sporadic PE, perhaps twice or more each week when I’m done. I’m gonna contiue with PE for another 3-4 weeks to make sure I’ve gotten everything cemented.

"You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts."

When you get a gain the first time, if you wake up one morning and are 1/4 longer, that gain is uncemented. If you stop PE then, it would probably go away, and it might go away if you do not stop PE (this happened to me). After a while of doing what you were doing before you got the gain, this can be avoided and the gain will not go away, or if it did go away it will come back and stay for good (this happened to me).

God knows the time it takes to cement gains, but I am sure it differs for us all. I think that gains are not fully cemented until further gains have been made on top of that, but that is just my opinion (because this happened to me).
