It seems that pretty much the standard clamping routine for people going for girth is 3-4 sets of 10-15 minutes. In other words, the good majority of people are doing about the same thing — less than an hour a day of clamping.

What I’m wondering is what happens when people try to do more. For example, what happens when people double the volume of clamping work by doubling time, keeping intensity same? Anyone have experience with this?

Anything over 20 minutes will starve the penis of oxygen, causing it to fall off.

I mean total time, keeping individual session times the same.

I don’t think it would be beneficial as the penis needs time to heal. 3-4 sets gives the penis plenty of expansion. I know that after 3 sets, my girth is nearly 1/2” larger, so I can’t see how more sets would help.

You might want to consider incorporating pumping into your routine. After clamping, low pressure pumping(3Hg, 20 minutes, 10 minute breaks) could possibly lead to some great girth gains. I just don’t think it’s feasible for most people as most people work. :D

I am trying to read all I can about clamping all over the net.
Stillwantmore is saying that he is trying 30-40 minute sessions because in any case blood circulation is never cut off.

What do you think about that?

My hoohah gets pretty damn blue in the face by 15 min mark. I wouldn’t go any longer than that myself at least at the pressure/intensity that I use. I haven’t done lower intensities simply because I’ve always assumed they’d basically be not enough different from a simple erection (ie wouldn’t cause growth). I could be wrong on that though, of course.

There is no point going beyond 10 minutes. Get max engorgement, hold it for a bit, then give your penis a break to get some fresh oxygen.

You have to remember, Stillwantmore has been doing this stuff for years(I think around 8 years now) and he knows what his penis can and can’t handle. That being said, I still feel that 30-40 minutes is just asking for trouble.

In the end, 4 10 minute sessions are a lot healthier than 1 40 minute session.

I got overly enthusiastic when I was clamping last year. The timing was good, I had a lot of privacy etc. Anyway I did some pretty intense and long sets. I gained about an inch in girth, over about 6 months, but I still have discoloration that is just now fading. When it’s flaccid, the color contrast is pretty vivid. I’d go shorter sets. (but I do like the increased girth!!)

Clgpalmer, I don’t suppose you have any pics of this discoloration, do you? How much were you clamping, roughly, in terms of hours/minutes or whatever per day?

Yeah, I got pretty intense with the clamping in November. I have some discoloration too, I hope it eventually goes away, it is one of the biggest things keeping me from doing more PE. I would be careful, I got all my discoloration the week I switched to 15 minute sets. I didn’t get any from months of 10 minute sets. I think it makes a huge difference.

I have some disgusting raised bumps that are light in color thanks to me being retarded clamping too long with high pressure. They first showed as red sores that “exploded” out of skin and healed the way I said in first sentence. Listen to Drilla, he is giving good advice.

Were you guys getting as good gains with the 10 minute sets though? The infamous Aristocane of course did 15 minute sets and seemed to swear by them for his awesome results. BigGirtha did 10 minute sets but I think he spent like the majority of the day or something doing them.

Ismellzesty, did your discoloration start as little dots/splotches too?

I don’t have any pics. I’ve got a really weird phobia of pics like that. But the discoloration is a really distinct line right where the 2 clamps ended. So from base to that point is pretty and showroom pink. From that point on it’s reddish purple. not enough to look freakshow, but fairly obvious to me. I was clamping for 20 to 30 minutes at a time while edging. I’d sometimes take a really short break..10 or 15 secs but that’s all. I was a little obsessed. Now that I’ve achieved most of the girth I want, I’m PEing smarter. Actually, who am I kidding…I don’t know if I’ll ever feel like I’ve got “enough” Long story. (and fortunately, Drilla, it didn’t make my dick fall off…scary!)

Were you clamping an hour a day, 2 hours a day? Damn discoloration — I’m already self-conscious about how my dick has gotten much darker over the last few years (not from PE but from not being 20 anymore). I don’t care what people here say about dark dicks being badges of honor/experience or whatever — girls like them pink and I’ve heard it from their mouths several times. Maybe those anti-bruising creams are prerequisite for clamping. Guess I’ve got a new research project now

The anti-brusing creams don’t do anything to help. I’ve tried and got no change in color.
