Clamping Warning!!!!!

I am surprised there have not been more thrombosed veins reported here, I just have to look at a clamp to get a thrombosed vein :)

I had to take 14 weeks off PE due to some thrombosed veins from clamping in May 2004. Not extreme clamping either. It works but I dare not ever clamp again.

I also get them from hanging with a BIB as it pulls the foreskin so I need to use a vacuum hanger that pulls from the glans without pulling the skin too much.

I will have to do a search on EVO, never heard of it before, ususlly take Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Nattokinase, Hirudiod cream and rest.

Seems like you get thrombosed veins pretty easy?

Maybe they aren’t thrombosed veins. Someone said that veins can be hard as long as there isn’t a pimple type irritation(meaning it blew up) it’s OK. So maybe some of your veins were just getting harder because of the pressure and you thought they were clotted or something. Btw idk anything that’s just what I took got from a couple of posters.

I too got a small purple/blue bump (1/2 of a pea) at the base of my penis about a month ago. It occurred on a day that I clamped and then pumped. It did not hurt really either. I was clamping every other day at the time. It was almost totally gone after about a week and I started clamping again. Then about two weeks after it happened I tried pumping and it came back about 50% of how big it was originally. It has been about 4 weeks and I have continued to clamp, but I have not pumped It has not reappeared.

Did you pump that day?

It was on the top side. I chalked it up to my sporadic work outs and then doing too much at one time. Could you not be as conditioned as you think?

I have had another thing happened to me - My skin got ripped (we are talking about micro rips) and I had to stop for couple of days. I knew that I was clamping very hard and felt the streching sensation on the skin as I was clamping. It didn’t hurt, but it was really itching as it was healing.

Its all healed now and I haven’t ran into same issue since. The problem now is that I can’t stop clamping - I’m so hooked (damn you BG). I went from 5” girth to 5.5 and trying to reach 6” soon. Again, damn you BG.

I’ve clamped and clamped and clamped some more, and the only thing that I’ve had problems with is slight desensitization (when doing it for ridiculous amounts of time, and long sessions at a time), and the classic clamp discoloration many clampers have had to deal with.

Other than that, I’m fine. The main thing is that you don’t do it when you’re a newb. You need to have your dick conditioned for at least a year (and when I say a year, I mean a year of near DAILY jelqing, kegels, etc). That and don’t want too much too fast. That was my problem, I started out clamping and within a month, I was clamping 3-4 times a day, 20 minute sessions each. Do NOT do this. Start out with one session per day, no longer than 5 minutes, and keep it there until you’ve got that down, then gradually step up your routine very slowly and methodically.

And btw, if you notice ANY discoloration, STOP IMMEDIATELY. While the discoloration itself isn’t particularly harmful to the functionability of your penis, the look of darkened color against lighter skin can freak out girls, especially when they go to give you a blowjob. Then you have to make up some bullshit story about how your dick got crushed this one time and that’s how it got that way, and then they’ll feel so sorry for what you went through and fuck your brains out all night long because of it and… Hm. Ok so maybe that wasn’t the best example to deter from over-clamping. My bad. =P

edit: It helps being huge if you’re discolored. If you’ve clamped and you’re still little, hang yourself. rofl j/k

edit’t: No, clamping doesn’t cause closing of the urethra. That’s most likely caused by another pre-existing medical condition, or poor diet. If you drink tons of water, I doubt you’ll have problems with your urethra TBH. Clamping has made my urethra fucking huge (it’s like Niagra falls when I go weewee now). =p

BTW, for all that are still kinda “iffy” about clamping, pumping is a great substitute. Pumping isn’t nearly as intense on your penis, but can still produce an amazing effect (size) if a consistent routine is followed.

Personally, I can’t wait until I clamp and pump at the same time. My 9” length and 8” girth…mmmhmm… ;)

If I was conditioned as my dick I would a professional marathon runner. I had just never pushed the envelope that hard before. I’m not telling people not to clamp because I will most likely go back to clamping myself I’m just not going to push the safety envelope as much. I think an IR heat lamp is a very important ingredient for safe clamping sessions.

dino9x7: thanks for the heads up and hope the ole’ shlong heals up better than before. I’ve scaled my “dick suicidal newbie clamping” back to five minutes only (was 10) and am going to keep the pressure only at the level where the head first starts to harden and the veins begin to slightly pop. However i *have* noticed that my dick, while average in size, is quite a trainer and in that reflects the rest of my body tissues which have always been severely resistant to breaks, sprains, and injuries of all kinds. Anyway, good luck on a speedy recovey!

I agree that “conditioned for jelqing” is not the same as “conditioned for clamping”.

I have a turn-key clamp and thus a very fine control over pressure and the risk/reward factor really comes into play. I can give a minute turn on the clamp and get a slightly larger girth, but there must be a limit.

FWIW, I’ve got the blue bump at the base too from pushing too hard :( . It seems to be quite a common clamping injury.

Yes I do, basically my foreskin does not like to be stretched. I do not know of many people that have reported getting thrombosed veins from hanging but a couple did PM when I got my first ones.

Hoffy200, good point. I have also read all the threads to do with thrombosed veins on Thunders. Sometimes they can just be hardened temporarily or they can be lymph vessels that are blocked, I have had a few of those too, a couple of tiny ones are permanent.

My first thrombosed veins started at the dorsal vein, it was enlarged, painful, hard and had 3 big lumps on it, then many veins branching off the big one were string like too. They took 14 weeks to clear. I got these when my routine was clamping and hanging.
I have not clamped since.

Then the next year I got 2 big ones from Hanging, one either side, I stopped immediately and they were gone in 5 weeks.
I always used heat before and during PE.

Now I have 3 more and have been off PE for 9 weeks. I will not use a bib or clamp again but will try a vacuum hanger that pulls from the Glans.

I think for most guys using a BIB and clamping does not seem to cause injury but I am prone to thrombosed veins.

bluenun: If you find a vacuum hanger that pulls from the glands let me know.

I think Monkeybar may have something up his sleeve.
