Clamping Warning!!!!!

Yowza, this is some scary stuff.

I was wondering when this extreme clamping rage was going to die down. Maybe Dino’s troubles will wake some people up.

Why not step back to a more soft clamping approach? Manual clamping makes it more easy to prevent injury and you will get strong arms to!

GOAL for December 2007: 8 X Red Bull

GOAL for December 2025: 14 X 10

The expansion you get from clamping is unmatched so I don’t think to many people are going to stop especially when I can’t even stop myself. The best I’m hoping for is we can all be more careful and for Gods sake newbies don’t clamp.

Well I had recently started clamping again and went at it much too fast and hard but it just felt so good, the expansion was amazing. I didn’t hurt myself but after a couple of sessions I stopped getting night wood and my hard on during sex was much weaker. I’m guess I did to much too soon because when I stopped night wood was back to normal which is beyond rock hard and sex is back to normal. I may start again but much slower.

So anybody who has started clamping and is noticing ED like symptoms you may just be over training.

Dino, have you tried low-intensity, long duration “clamping,” aka “wrapping for girth”?

I’m an extremely hard gainer girthwise. Years ago I tried the high intensity stuff, even higher than most here — very intense extreme Ulis. I tried to force a girth gain. Didn’t work. In the end all I had to show for the effort was shedding small blood clots from my shaft skin and discoloration.

What did work for me at one point to get a small gain when nothing else had done the trick was maintaining a milder engorgement for longer periods. I wrapped, pumped at low vacuum, and edged while wearing a cock ring. Not all at the same time, but the combination. I used those techniques to keep the shaft engorged at low pressure for a total of many hours each day.

Is that all you did to gain… just pumping and edging?

I’m in the same boat you were, no matter how intense I go nothing is giving me gains. Very very extreme uli’s might be working however, but I’m not sure yet, I’ll have to keep testing that.

Wrapping (which is the equivalent of very mild “clamping”), pumping, and edging while wearing a cock ring, yep. I used a mix. I did my best to maintain mild pressure for relatively long time. No days off.

If you’ve done intense “clamping” or extreme Ulis recently, your tunica is probably quite conditioned/strengthened. I doubt that’s good starting position to benefit from lower intensity stuff. You might try taking some time off first, at least from exercises that target girth. Months.

For newbies reading this, extreme Ulis are a bit different from how most are using cable clamps. For EU’s you use a hose clamp or a Bib hanger. When 100% engorgement has been obtained in front of the device you then crank it down tighter, creating even more pressure. After that you may also add weight to a hanger. EU’s are, as the name implies, extreme. I pushed them quite hard, and I’m lucky I didn’t rupture my tunica. I certainly could have. For all of that risk and effort, I didn’t get any reward. IMO, teasing out gains is the way to go. Forcing doesn’t work.

No, it sounds interesting though. A pump is the one piece of PE equipment I don’t own at this point.

Hobby:

Would you mind spelling this out a little?

“wrapping” - is the concept here like using the homedics magnetic wrist wrap around the base? Or are you wrapping your entire unit with an ace bandage like it is a mummy? How long a day do you keep the wrap on? How tight is it?

“edging with a cock ring” - ring only on shaft (like a clamp) or do you wear it behind the balls? How long are your edging sessions? Would you follow that up with a wrap?

“pumped at low vacuum” - what numbers — 2.5HG? For how long.

Do you ever combine things in this way

1 Pump
2 Then edge w cockring
3 Then Wrap

Or are they more “standalone activities?” Thanks in advance.

Here’s the old, main thread about wrapping for girth: Synergistic effect of wrapping on hanging and uli’s for Bib, etals

I wrapped at the base. Tightness is the trick. Too tight and you choke off bloodflow. Too loose and you don’t get decent engorgement. Of course, there are shades in between, so you have to keep an eye on things. Minor adjustments make a big difference. I never did get good enough to hit it perfectly each time, but after practice I could get an hour or so of engorgement each “set”.

When edging I wore the ring around the whole package — behind the balls. Pressure from it on the dorsal side of the shaft is what helped boost/maintain erection strength.

I think my pumping for this purpose was somewhere around 2-2.5” Hg. It was enough to maintain or help maintain an erect size, but no more. I don’t remember how long the sets were I used. Probably around 20 minutes. I usually wrapped the “donut area” when pumping to help prevent fluid buildup. I’m very prone to it.

I used a mix of whatever was most convenient at the time. If I wasn’t in the mood to maintain a strong erection, I’d skip edging and do something else instead. If I needed to be mobile, I wrapped. Whatever combination, as long as I got in several hours each day I met my goal. I avoided doing Ulis and other high intensity stuff. I wanted time to do the work.

I keep reading “Newbies, don’t do clamping!” or similar. At what point are you not a newbie?

I have been religiously doing the newbie routine plus some variations (see my other posts on Newbie next phase) since January. Now doing 2 on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off. I’ve seen improvement in BPFSL, now at 7.625”, but would like to see some girth progress. I’m thinking of incorporating clamping into the evening of the first day of each pair when I PE.

I’ve tried doing a manual clamp and held it for 1 minute, just to see how pressurized and engorged my unit would become. It certainly swelled impressively but the deep red/purple colour that came with the swelling was a little alarming. It returned to normal colour within 2 minutes after releasing.

Also I read somewhere about avoiding girth exercises until your length goals have been achieved. To clamp or not to clamp, that is the question.

I have been clamping now for nearly 3 years and again I must repeat what Dino9X7 has stated. Extreme caution. I havent had any injuries myself in those 3 years but through reading what is posted on thunders one can easily come to the conclusion that clamping canbe very dangerous for the uninformed.

Clamping is a very patient exercise and importantly a exercise. Timing of your clamping is very important and it does worry me when I see posters stating that they are clamping for over 10mins. 10mins is the extreme max I have found. Mutliple sets I would only recomend when you are well and trully conditioned yourself to clamping and then even proceed with caution.

…….

You should start clamping when, despite decon breaks, you can’t get anymore gains using manual exercises. The safety is just one (altough the most relevant) of issues; the other one is the thoughening of your tool: the faster you jump on extreme technique, the faster you’ll condition your penis, reducing total gains on the long run.

3 forms of PE with very high injury potential… no doubt about it.

How about erect bends while clamped? :0

I’ve been clamping for just under 4 months now. Early on I had some pain issues that forced me into rest days. I’ve learned to listen to my penis much more when clamping. Even if I’m targeting a 10min set I STOP early if there’s any abnormality or pain. Also rolling immediately after clamping has eliminated any discoloring AND was even able to remove a small pinch-bruise with 1.5 days.

Now, as for the bending.. Well, I have quite a left bend. I slowly started integrating bending to stretch the left (inside radius) in hopes of straightening things out. That eventually developed into erect clamped bends. Yes, this can be dangerous. I’m very careful to massage all day long, with rolls thrown in throughout the day as well. Also, I no longer sit and do 3x10min sets. I’ll do a manual stretch/jelq/1x10 clamp in the AM, another at lunch, and a 3rd in the afternoon or evening. And if there’s any tingling at the bend site I fall back to a day or so of just massages and rolls.

Be careful Dino.

Regarding clamping, I wanted to make a thread about this but I`m not allowed to do so.

The consensus on this board is to clamp while 100% erect, right?

Bib has a different approach with his ULI thing. He says that porn and erotic stimulation is completely unneccesary.

You just need a 30-50% erection if I remember correctly. The clue is to close outflow while providing inflow. Eventually the cock will expand far beyond 100%.

If you clamp a 100% erect cock, it is much harder to get expansion and it is also more dangerous.

Poorly explained by me perhaps, but I can write later as I think this is important.
