Cold vs Hot

I see a lot of info on warm ups. Now to me a warm up would get blood circulation and cause some of the fiber to be more elastic. Do I drop the bomb of my thinking? I do. Why dont we do it cold? It would create more damage. That is the point of PE is it not? The whole idea of heating doesnt make much sense to me with my viewpoints on cold. An analogy, when your muscles are cold in the gym you stretch and get a little warmed up so you dont damage the muscle fiber. Now I know the penis isnt a muscle, but the hot & cold still apply. Thoughts, theories, or just want to tell me im a clueless jackass in general. Im listening. :)

Why do you think athletes warm up? Damage is good but too much damage is bad.

I understand what you are getting at.

However, simply said, a heated penis will stretch a lot more than a cold one.

So, what good is it to get a lousy stretch from being too cold?

Any kind of exercise done without warming up is stupid in general. If you feel the need to damage your penis more, go ahead. Don’t say we didn’t try to warn you.

I see you joined in Sept ‘04 and you already have 278 posts. I would tend to think that as a relative newbie, reading more and posting less will be beneficial to your gains.

You have already made good gains in 2 months, if I were you, I would continue with the same routine and try to capitalize on the newbie gains before changing anythig up. Once you have not gained for 2 months consecutive, then I would look at plateau busters.

@Ramrod This is precisely it. Since when is how far the penis can stretch an important factor over how much danage you can do to a cold penis?

@Lefty I dont even know how to address this. I dont have to work for a living, so that might explain my high post count. I also feel like this bit of info is nobodies business. Furthermore, I didnt realize you had to be here any length of time before youy could form an idea. My registration date and post count had nothing to do with the question, it was just a slam at me. If gains arent coming then its not damaging it. Even if it were, the damage isnt going to be so great, that the penis is going to fall off.

Muscles are attached to bones with ligs, aren’t they? And secondly it’s about the concept and not the type of tissues.

A heated penis can stretch a lot more than a cold one. Thus, giving you a better chance to over or hyper-stretch your fibers.

That completes Step 1 of your growth process.

Step 2 is healing in the extended state. After you have stretched, or hanged weights, now it is time to stay extended while cooling down.

In your original post, you asked if we wanted to call you a clueless jackass in general. I think I will do that now. Seeing how you responded to my post tells me that you are more about speaking and hearing yourself talk than about listening to the worthy advice of others. This forum has years of information that has been backed up by more and more individuals. You will not like everybody, nor will everybody like you. And from the way I replied to you in another thread, you will like me even less.

I am trying to do my part to keep people on the road to Gainsville and not down the backroad through Injurytown (understand that analogy?).

Do an experiment for me. Take 2 identical elastic bands. Put one in the fridge. Put one in your pocket (or someplace warm). After 15 minutes, try stretching the both of them. Slowly now, this is not a race. Which one seems more pliable and ready to stretch? Now try this experiment with something like cheese. Which stretches better? Which tears? Now I will ask you to find me a material that stretches better when cold than when hot.

Do you get the point of warming up?

Only the penis has the cc attached to bone via ligs. Just about everything is ligs & tendons. I say it is an issue if tissue type. The cc is different from muscle tissue. So we cant debate it since we are at an impass already.

This is interesting, but again how does heat make an environment for damage? As far as being in an extended state wont make cells grow new cells. It doesnt matter whether its extended or normal. If a cell is damaged, a new cell is going to grow. Its not going to leave because there is “no room” because you didnt leave it in an “extended state”.

When I first read your original post, it reminded me of a Wadzilla thread.

I used to think that warming up was no big deal.
Then, after reading Wadzilla’s post, I looked at heat in a diiferent way.

Like I said, you will be able to stretch out further. Plain and simple.
