Well the blaster involves a held stretch (which is why it can be done while hanging) using the tensioning and releasing of the PC muscle to encourage greater and greater release so as to hit the ligs more and more.
JAI’s just avoid the whole PC reflex issue by stretching for such a short time that the PC muscle can’t cut in.
Or at least thats my understanding :)
I’m used to stretching in yoga, releasing deeper and deeper into a stretch.
The Blaster uses a flex followed by deep relaxation as the key for that kind of relaxation, in the same way some people can only touch their toes after they’ve stretched and released bobbing up and down a bit.
