Does Big Girth Kill Length Gains?

Good observation. We have known for a long time that newbie gains are the fastest increase in size.

A lot of us have experimented with ways to overcome this. The “keep the penis guessing” theory is a good one. Some people prefer a de-conditioning break.

Anyway, my own theory is that de-conditioning can be replaced by alternate focus, i.e. when my length gains stop, i switch to girth, and then when the girth gains stops i switch back to length.

Is this something new that you do, or has it been like this from day 1?

All I know is that my length has increased significantly faster than my girth. I’m stuck at 6.75 girth and I’m starting to get sporadic 9.0 BPEL measurements.

gain length with girth, or do length and then girth?

For those of you who are going for a girthier as well as a longer cock, my question is simple: is it generally easier to do focus on length and girth at the same time, or to reach your length goal first and then focus on girth?
In my case my length gains are very good (gained 0.16 inches BPEL within the last week), which was due to 20 minutes stretching on a 3 day on/1 day off routine. However my girth (MSEG) has only increased by about 0.08 inches, despite doing 30 jelq squeezes that week (+10 per week).
When I measured on my rest day (last week) my BPEL had increased but my MSEG had decreased slightly. Does girth gains go to length gains, and if so, is there a way to counter this?

I think this theory is wrong, and the explanation is inside the structure of tunica.

The tunica is divided in two level:

-internal level with circumferential collagen fibers.

-external level with longitudinal collagen fibers

And one can’t influence the other.

My theory is :
-if you have length gains in first, so this will be more easy to have girth gains, because the quantity of the circumferencial fibers stay the same.
-if you have girth gain first, the longitudinal fibers stay the same .

I think it’s psychological, because girths gain is more impressive and mostly guys lost their motivation.

Clarifi, this is my point of view.

It’s good too know that, big girth gains, doesn’t kill the length gains.So glad I’m keeping my girthwork for after hanging, on a decon break.

Does flaccid gains come before erect gains?

I think you need to very big erect gains, then you have flaccid gain.

My erect length gains: 1.6 inch
My flacid gain (average):0.4 inch

But it should be not the same for everyone, of course…

I think having big girth does make it harder to gain length wise, but all you need is more stress. More weight.

Not more weight necessarily; if anything, more time.

I’m having no gains after 4 months of PE. I wonder if it is me having a large girth but rather short length. There’s also been no girth increase too.

So I’m gonna ask Modestoman and anyone else here, do you think there is any effect my large girth (measured at base) is having on my length gains in any way?

I also haven’t had any PI or EQ improvements either. As far as I’ve observed, I’ve not had 1% increase in anything.

This thread is five years dead. Modestoman hasn’t been here for a long time. Girth has a small impact, but not much. More girth just needs plenty of heat.

Well so far I’ve not found anyone with similar measurements to me, BPEL - 5.25” and BPEG - 7”

So that makes me to have a rather ‘stumpy’ penis. It’s not like I have a short length but small girth too. Or large girth but also large length.

So when reading about the rubber band theory it makes me think that I’m very effected by my girth making it harder for me to stretch my length. I feel like I have exceptional measurements here that give me that ‘tuna can’ effect. So this would make it harder for me to grow length and get enough blood pressure into the top of my penis.

Not sure what you or anyone else thinks.

Also, please give me the details of how or why I would need more heat, and what is the best way to do this? - As I have been considering that I need more heat to get to the centre of my shaft more. Not sure if shower water is doign the trick. Thanks.

Shower water is better than nothing, but not much. IR lamp is best, next best is microwaveable gel pack over a hot wet cloth, or third option is a dry rice sock. IR and damp heat penetrate best. You will feel the difference when you use one of those methods instead of shower water - the collagen in your penis becomes softer and more flexible.

Problem I see with an IR lamp is that it won’t be penetrating every side of my penis like a tight hot wrap would. So I’d have to be constantly turning it around my penis all the time. I’ve not checked out IR lamps yet, maybe there’s a thread on the benefits of it here somewhere. Why do you think it’s the best form of penis heating, and is that the generally what everyone else thinks?
