Flaccid Measurement

When you measure your flaccid length do you do it NBP or BP? I measure mine NBP but was wondering what other do.

One should always measure bone pressed, both flaccid and erect. That way we always know that we are all measuring the same way.

At best, your flaccid lenght is a bit of a mystery no matter how you measure it. There is just so much variation. When is your cock at it true flaccid state anyway? I love it when it is “full” flaccid and that occurs mostly during the afternoon and night time hours, but morning after shower flaccid sucks. I like to measure afternoon full flaccid and just measure what is hanging out there, non bone pressed.

I feel like I am “cheating” when I measure bone pressed for my flaccid length, though I bone press for my erect length. It is true that the flaccid state varies so much it is hard to know what length it will ever be. Though I am happy that I no longer have the flaccid turtle neck and acorn stages I once had.

OOPS. I think I did all my measurments NBP for the Database.

Because both flaccid length and girth vary so, good idea to measure over several days and take an average. Bone pressed will give you more consistency.

Unless one doesn’t care what “we” think and always just measures the same way. Ofcourse it is more reliable to measure bone pressed as none bone pressed results can vary by the amount of pubic fat one might have.

Ant, there are so many ways even to measure bone pressed that you can’t really compare other people’s results. One might measure right above his penis, from the pubic bone, the second might do the same from the side and gain ½ of an inch and the third might do it the “DLD-way”; showe the ruler in his belly button and gain from 3 to 5 extra inches.
In the end it doesn’t matter how you measure, as long as you always measure the same way, in order for yourself to track your progress.

You make good points. Perhaps we should decide on the Thunders’ Standard Way of Measuring .. a new world standard to be known as the TSWM! This would standardize where the ruler is placed.

For me, I always measure my erect size bone-pressed, i.e. mostly useable cock size. But for flaccid size, I’ve always measured non bone-pressed. Why? Because it’s always been about how visually large I look to myself and others in the flaccid state. Plus, when I measure flaccid bone-pressed, I get another additional inch or more of length.

I decided to pin my flaccid length down for future comparison. I’ve started a spreadsheet with date, time, length and notes about what activity I was doing before measuring. I’ll try to measure as often as possible. Not sure for how many days yet, at least 3 and maybe a week.

I’m recording NBP with the ruler placed gently at the leading edge of my fat pad - the least flattering measurement. I’m sure I’ll pick up at least 1/2” (probably more) when I lose the extra fat I’m carrying. It will be impossible to determine how much gain is from actual length increase, but in this case is the best way for me to measure. There isn’t a good place to BP the ruler consistently with my dick hanging down.

why not care about the flaccid length you guys? anyone made a big progress of fl?

Anyways, on topic now, I think that the reason a lot of people don’t care much about flaccid size is that it can fluctuate so much anyways. And on top of that, it’s erect size that gives the pleasure.
