Gaining girth

Gaining girth

Does anyone think they are gaining girth, but that they are gaining at such a slow rate it’s too hard to tell? It seems like I am gaining, but it really could be just pulling the tape measure too lightly?? I mean can you really tell if you are only gaining 1/8 inch/year (now that I have reached my plateau)?

I think pulling the tape too tightly will give you a negative impression of girth gains because in doing so, you are squeezing your shaft, which gives the false impression that your gaining very little if anything at all.

The problem I’ve found with girth measurements in the 1/8” +/- range is that measurements that small can sometimes be explained by improved EQ (which manual PE exercising can provide) and ultimately complicates how to assess what factor (EQ or PE) is responsible for the actual gain. I’d imagine you’d need 0.25” (ballpark) or more to really determine whether your gains are coming from effective PE exercises. Don’t get me wrong, even if the 1/8” is coming from EQ, that in itself is technically a gain, and improved EQ usually = improved sex.

Correct me if I’m mistaken, just an idea I figured in the past while trying PE. I’m back at it, but primarily focusing on length since my girth has been achieved by alternative means. Good luck :)

Thanks, it’s just that after a year or two + 0.25 in girth or more/year is fairly hard to achieve or some it seems.

That’s why if you are on a good gaining routine and know it, keep measuring all the time to get consistent measurements. Of course in certain cases measuring to much and seeing no change is totally demotivating.

That’s what I mean. I guess the best way to do it is just to take a measurement once/year? Any thoughts?

Try every 3 months, that seems like a good balance that isn’t too frequent or infrequent.

I’d agree with this. I’ve gained slow from the get go. Started at 5, now at 5.6. But it’s taken nearly 4 years. That’s an average of about 1/8” per year. For me, it’s been slow but steady. I never had much of a newbie gain. I think the ticket is keeping going. I’m sure there may be a ceiling for most guys, but many might never realize it if they quit. I measure quite frequently but with the full knowledge that I’m obviously not going to gain 0.1” in a week or maybe even a month. As long as you understand that girth comes slowly, it probably doesn’t matter how often you measure.

Hey guys. I have not posted in a long time but saw you query titan and though i’d pop in with my experience, since i just measured yesturday after having stopped measuring a year or so ago.

I started PE on thunders about 2 years ago, got the quick newby gain of about 1/2”, taking me from my pre PE length 5.8nbpl” to almost 6.5nbpl”, probably that was really just improved EQ, girth started just under 5”. I grew concerned over my lack of progress and kept casually jelqing but stopped measuring. I continued like this for about a year without picking up a ruler and last night thought, “what the heck” and with a 90% erection measured defintely over 7”, lets say 7.1nbp”. Girth appears to be 5.4ish. I’m glad i quit measuring, it provided a nice surprise for me, and i remember the frusration i felt when i was measuring twice a week. I’m glad i left it alone. The ruler that is..
Best wishes to all in your endeavor. J

I have this problem as well but there are ways to know if you are gaining without measuring, some of those methods are:

1) How thigh the condoms adjust your dick and compress your shaft.
2) How is your ok grip expanding progressively from month to month.
3) If you have a pump you could visually see if the expansion is greater and if the silicone thing presses your shaft more and more (this could apply to a cock ring as well).
4) If you are a very visual person and have an outstanding observation ability (say an architect or an artist) maybe you could observe a minimal change only by looking at it.
5) The toiler paper roll test can serve as well.

Well, I don’t know how you guys think about this but I apply it from time to time.

I was measuring once a month and for the reasons above found it difficult to determine if I have gained. 3 months sounds about right. If you leave it any longer you could end up on a routine which isn’t giving you any returns. I’m gonna measure myself tonight and finall update my log!

Measuring girth can be difficult IMO because the urethra that tube on the underside of your penis where the urine comes through, is easily compressed when you measure. So its hard to get a real accurate read, in my opinion anyway.

For me the biggest way to tell is using my first pumping cylinder. It used to be large for me, now I barely fit in when I go to use it. Its almost like it looks like my dick didn’t get thicker, just that the tube shrank! :)

So, slow gains, like children growing…you don’t really notice, it just kind of sneaks up on you.

So find a tube or something like a toilet paper roll tube and see how it fits. Then come back to it in about 6 months and see if it still fits, or it you can’t even get into anymore. Thats how I like to keep track of girth.

For shorter term measurements, I like to use a string or cord, and just make a mark on it where it wraps around once and touches itself. Make an new mark on it every time its longer. Then you can lay the string out and measure it with a tape measure. I think that makes it more accurate.
