Hanging for stretch

So I am doing a jelqing routine and I am considering hanging for 5 or so minutes instead of doing the 5 minutes of stretching, then I’d jelq. What do y’all think of this? Anyone does this?

You’d have to hang quite a bit of weight to get the same amount of force as you get from a hand stretch. Usually they recommend hanging lightly.

But hey I’m sure you could start off hanging lightly and then add more time and weight as and when you need.

I mean, they recommend when you start hanging for it to be light. Like 1-3lb’s then move up in 1-2lb increments. I’d say a hand stretch could produce 10-20lb’s. So you can see what I mean.

Looks like you’ve been doing PE since 2008?

I think your member is ready to move onto hanging.

It takes about 2 weeks to get past skin stretching with hanging. I would say up to 3 weeks to adapt to attachment point stress. So you’ll need 2-3 weeks of adjusting before you start gaining with hanging. Basically, don’t expect much during your first month.

Once you adjust it will give you a powerful stretch… beyond anything you can get manually. It’s more controlled & more exact.

Those are some of the reasons I like hanging.

One thing you can do, is if you have something like a captains wench, muzzle hanger, or some other attachment device, you can attach it like a hanger, but then stretch manually. That can give a powerful manual stretch.

To get the full benefit of hanging, you might as well just go all the way & actually do it. It’s possibly the best / most intense length exercise out there…

Friends I’ve done hanging before. I was just wondering about using a hanger for the 5 minutes of stretching thats done before a routine. I was wondering the amount of weight you would have to use in order to simulate the amount of forced created by manual stretching?

For me, hanging feels nothing like a manual stretch, so I can’t compare it. Yes, mechanically it seems similar but to me I can’t compare the feeling & give a certain weight.
