Hanging vs stretching

If some one grab there penis and stretched straight oh or BTC for 30min a day would it be the same affect as hanging weights, also do people buy hangers or do people hear use home made ones. Oh one more thing is 10lbs to much to start off with.

People make multiple types of hangers and buy multiple type of hangers.

Stretching is stretching and hanging is hanging. There might be some overlap in the tension and the effect but there are differences.

Most people can stretch for a far greater amount of force than they will hang on their penis.

However, the benefit of hanging is keeping and knowing an exact amount of weight that you are using for the exact amount of time. Then increasing as you need to.

When I did stretches I had no idea how much tension I was applying and I definitely couldn’t keep the exact amount of tension beyond a few moments. Plus the next day there is no way you are going to come in at the exact same amount of tension. I don’t think people even try to.

With hanging if you are into knowing exactly these variables and building your routine off of this it might be for you.

Stretching is free and you can do it anywhere. Setup time is almost instant and tear down time is just pulling up your pants. Easily done in stealth and travels very well.

Hanging allows you to put in many hours if you are so inclined and you can keep your hands free to multitask.

I’ve tried to replicate hanging with manual stretching with minor success. To bhcentral’s list of differences, I’d add that I feel stretching and hanging in different parts of the penis.

Stretching is grabbing mainly the skin and CS, by way of the glans. Even if you grab well below the glans, the skin slides up until you’re essentially gripping the glans. Manual stretching in this way feels like pulling on the end of the penis.

Hanging is grabbing mainly the CC by clamping down on the internal structures. It feels more like pulling on the shaft

Grabbing the CS/glans as in a normal stretch does stretch the CC because they’re connected to the glans/CS, but it’s not the same force as having the attachment/grip point below the glans. You can make a tight hanger-like pinch grip and achieve a CC grab with your hands, but it’s difficult to hold it for more than a couple minutes. With a semi, I can stretch and grab both the CC and CS (splitting the load between them) using an overhand grip with one or two fingers on the glans, and the other 2-3 fingers on the shaft.

Another stretching variation is using two hands, one in the normal grip grabbing the glans/CS, and the second grabbing the CC near the base - I get hanging-like sensations from this downward stretch in the base ligs, fascia, and skin.

Another is an ULI stretch at various clamp points, which has the effect of grabbing the CC, but also its intensity is way higher because any force you stretch with, is also adding force to the ULI’s expansion.

I’ve tried stretching BTC by laying down on the side, and grabbing from around the back, between the legs, and that does have more effect on the ligs similar to hanging BTC.

Mem has a routine with penis over a canister. I think that is about as close as I have come to feeling that hanging sensation. However, I haven’t tried any of the stretches that BeardedDragon mentioned.

If you are grabbing the skin while stretching, you are doing it wrong.

I find I get the best grip just behind the glans. That way I don’t feel skin sliding up. Would that be correct way?

Just behind the glans is correct; you have to retract foreskin if you are uncut (I am). Skin shouldn’t be gripped.

Yes, I didn’t want to mislead anybody into grabbing on to the least important part. If you focus only on the skin, you are missing out on all the benefit.

If you try to grip on the shaft, but do it too lightly, the grip will catch skin, and slide forward until it catches on the glans. This will be the standard CS stretch with some skin stretch added in. If you grip in the normal glans position, with little to no skin stretch, you’re pulling on the CS, which then pulls on the CC since they are connected.

To grip the CC, you must grip the shaft very tightly. Anybody who has tightened a BIB on the internals knows how tight it has to be, and it’s very difficult to sustain this grip pressure for more than a minute or two.

A major difference between stretching and hanging is that most stretching is pulling on the CS, then the connective tissues between the CS and CC, and finally on the CC itself. Hanging pulls straight on the CC, and some on the skin if it is a limiting factor. There are ways to stretch like a hanger, but it is usually just easier to hang instead.

I did a stretching exercises way back before called section stretching. Which you begin at the base, middle shaft and under glans. This stretching exercise is used with both hands. For example if you start at the base holding the grip with one hand and the other hand 1” above the other and stretch in opposite directions..
This is the only exercise I know and did focusing on the shaft only. Now I do a deep base stretch which I have inspired from the 3- step workout which is very effective.
But you’re right! Stretching the shaft is difficult as you described.
