Earlier this summer (i.e. 3 months ago), I had a procedure done to remedy my short frenulum. If you search for “tying up the frenulum” on google you will see exacly what I mean. I am very happy with the results, there is essentially no scar discernable, and only a small flap of frenulum attached to my foreskin to tell the story that something was done at all. I can now comfortably stretch my foreskin all the way back over my shaft which makes wearing a condom much more comfortable.

BUT

There is a drawback. I tried resuming PE after it had healed completely, I started very gently with about half of the newbie routine. Jelqing seems to be fine, but after even a couple of stretches, the place on the underside of my glans where the frenulum was originally connected becomes dark blue, like a really bad bruise. I believe this is because a couple of blood vessles were severed there when the frenulum was disconnected. This goes away after about 4 days, but every single time I have tried stretching, it happens again! I am afraid that I can no longer do any manual stretches…

Have you guys had anything similar happen (maybe after a circumcision), and do you think this will stop happening if I give it a really long time (e.g. 6 months) to heal?

I am very discouraged since I mostly want length and I had gotten results from manual stretching before.
Perhaps one of you has a technique of manual stretching that does not put any increased pressure on the glans.

I don’t even have the slightest expertise in this area so I am not going to give you any advice, but I am sure someone will chime in to help. Are you using plenty of heat before each PE session. The sports bottle(I use a honey bottle) warmup method is the best one I find to get my whole unit hot and ready to roll.

Immediately stop PEing. You are not done healing from your operation yet.

The penis is an extremely sensitive part of the body and takes a long time to heal.

3 months may seem like a lot, but I would give it 3 more and then try again. Start SLOOOOWLY.

Yes I do use the water bottle method, for 10 minutes before and after. Just to clarify, the area that turns blue (bruises) is very small, just where the blood vessels were terminate. My worry is that the blood vessels will never be robust enough not to bruise when putting the pressure required for a good stretch.

I think I should have posted this in the main member forum. If a moderator sees this, please move it there if possible.

Replace stretches with flaccid dry jelqs; monitor if everything goes fine, if not stop. I think after some months you’ll be able to do stretches again.

Or you can try and modify your grip so that there is no pressure being applied to the sensitive spot.

Yeah try to tweak your squeeze. I had a similar issue. 10 years ago I had surgery for varicocele, and at the same time, since my frenulum was kind of short, the dr. just cut it. I remember getting that area purple while PE’ing for long time. It takes years for the carbon unit to properly rebuild all the blood supply in the small area. Even my surgery scars were pink for maybe 6-7 years. Don’t worry about it. Just try to find yourself a technique. Eventually with healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition your carbon unit will recover 100%.

I’m thinking of getting this procedure done, but after what you’ve said.I think I’ll wait till I’m more or less done with length PE (if ever).

I would appreciate it if you would post your progress with healing here, it would help me make a decision about what I’m going to do. :)

Not something I know enough to have an opinion on; but, I toss it out for those more knowledgeable to comment on.

Would a vacuum hanger work for richard? Users of such are always raving about how comfortable they are.
