Jelqing.

Am I doing something wrong??

I have not ever come remotely close to getting cramps from this.

Am I not using enough pressure(hard to believe)??

Are others using to much pressure??

Weak hands??

Hands could cramp from stretching, but unlikely from jelqing.

I get hand cramps while jelqing. It’s not like I’m gripping particularly hard or anything. It’s that I do this same motion over and over and for whatever reason, the muscles just freeze. I actually find that if I switch up grips constantly (like going overhand to underhand to maybe a few c-grips) that I can go longer without cramps or fatigue.

I don’t think it has to do with grip intensity. Some people are just more prone to it.

Stretching actually hurts my hands, I can usually only hold a decent stretch for 30-60 seconds. Jelqing just makes my hands fatigued, so I frequently switch hands and grip styles.

I get cramps too, from time to time. I’m not sure of the reason. How many jelqs do you do in a session?

It may have a lot to do with what a person does for a living to. I swing hammers and twist screw-drivers all day and my hands and forearms have a lot of endurance, so they never cramp up stretching, or jelqing. This is just a theory of mine, but reading through posts of other members who complain about cramping, or not being able to maintain a grip got me wondering about this. So I guess my opinion is if you think your pulling/squeezing hard, then you likely are. Some men can likely hold a good stretch for an hour and others might find 30 seconds excruciating.

Yeah, this is interesting. I also get hand cramps every now and then from intense stretching.

Fulcrum stretching is easier on the hands because the fulcrum puts more of the force into the stretch so the grip doesnt have to be as hard.

I spend my days pushing, pulling and squeezing with my work, and cannot imagine getting cramp from doing PE. Maybe that’s why I’m the greatest fan of manual PE and have only bothered with gadgets so I can learn enough about them to help with questions on them.
