I Support Heat for PE use
I did a search and there were alot of different threads about heat and using it for PE. I just wanted to chime in and give my two cents, so if someone thinks it should got to a previous posted thread, please feel free to move.
So, I have use heat before but nothing more than a few minute warm up and maybe a warm down. With so much PE things to do hanging, clamping, pumping, jelqing, ect, ect, ect, one can get lost or just get ahead of himself. When I first started PE I did the newbie with minimal warm up, after that when I moved up to more advanced techniques I used even less heat. Except for the one month way back when, I started hanging with 4lbs for like 2 mins straight down. I stopped hanging and heating without gains or so I thought, I vigorously picked up stretching and used and ads more. Soon after I measured and noticed about a 1/2 inch length gain!
For some reason I did not even think about the hanging or even the heat is what most likely what contributed to my gains. Anyway, I have really picked up hanging again and still nothing but minor heat and really, really minor gains. For equipment reasons I have been pumping for the last few days and I decided to give the whole heat thing a try, you know for the whole session. To my surprise the last two sessions I did it was totally amazing! I did a rice sock warm up, then I kept heating the sock up to apply during my whole routine and my post PE results were far superior to any other that I have gotten before. Also, the gains I received have stuck around longer whether they are temporary or not.
My point is I plan to use the heat factor for all my work outs, the whole work out. I know that some here say that heat has not helped them at all but I am just wondering if they have used heat for the whole routine? In my humble opinion everyone should give entire session heating a try.
