Thunder's Place

The big penis and mens' sexual health source, increasing penis size around the world.

Is it natural for a man, as he ages, for his penis to become smaller?

Is it natural for a man, as he ages, for his penis to become smaller?

Q: Is it natural for a man, as he ages, for his penis to become smaller? Can anything be done to stop the shrinkage?

A: Like what, for example? Washing only in cold water?

Penis worry is just another indignity you can chalk up to aging, like asking why weird, wiry black hairs are starting to pop out of your ears and why you can’t drink anything after 7 p.m. and without having to rise at 2 a.m. to pee.

But whether or not it actually shrinks is open to debate. You could try taking a tape measure to your gym’s locker room and measuring penises young and old, but German researchers have saved you from being banned for life by doing the work for you. They assessed 111 men divided into two groups, those 18 and 19 and those 40 to 68.

You’ll be happy to know that mean flaccid length was actually longer in the older men. Mean erect length was slightly longer in the young men, but barely. Erect width slightly favored the kids.

I felt pretty good about this, but then I asked Dr. Irwin Goldstein, a urologist and editor of the Journal of Sexual Medicine. “I believe that elasticity of the tunica [albuginea] (and thus penile size) decreases with age,” he said.

The tunica is part of the erectile gear of the penis. Studies have shown that the concentration of its elastic fibers decreases with age. This is apart from conditions like Peyronie’s disease that can force the penis to contract.

While you can’t stop aging, what would you do if you thought your hamstring was stiffening? You’d stretch and exercise, right? Well, penises, like every other part of our bodies, work better if you keep them working.

Another good reason to PE for life.

Interesting theories. I watched a documentary about quantum physics. In the documentary it stated that we only get old because it is programmed in our thoughts that we age.

Maybe we can try pulling some reverse psycology on our penises.

Well, Albolene Moisturizing Cleanser has kept my penis young and fresh looking.

It doesn’t look a day over 19, which is about the time I started using it as a beat-off lube.

You may be onto something with the mental aspect.

Surely that can’t be true. I mean either it’s in our thoughts we don’t control (unconscious mind) or they left out other factors. I’m sure animals don’t think about growing old and such, they still go through the aging process as does everything, with a consciousness and without!

Oh and I think because of health issues the circulation gets worse as you get older, maybe through smoking, bad diet, being over weight, drinking etc will cause your manhood to shrink. I’m sure there’s probably another factor I’m not aware of. Any time I’ve seen porn with an old man in he’s small to average-small, both flaccid and erect.

I thought a while back, that pictures on here from older men, there dicks don’t look old. I couldn’t distinguish a 50 year olds from a 20 year olds. Do dicks even change aesthetically as they get older? With the PE punishment I’ve put mine through it looks older I guess but also more mature, more manly(maybe more veins and the growth). One that’s not veiny and is soft isn’t very macho now is it which could possibly be considered a young guys dick more so.

I think Audacia makes a very interesting point. For example Poppa1940 just posted pics in the full body thread and his dick doesn’t look “older” than the others, and he’s 70! Our faces and ears and hands etc. age, but apparently not our cocks. Hmmm. Or maybe just the penises of PEers? Do PEers cocks resist aging?

Maybe they are not aging because they are doused in a bath of vaginal secretions.

I think it could begin shrinking with decreased sexual activity. As long as you keep it working, it should keep its size!

More than a year ago I, when I joined the forum, I supposed older guys could get easier gains having less elastic (= more plastic) tissues. I was said there is no evidence for better, or worse gains at older age. Those studies prove there is a basis though…

The opposite is true for sure: the best moisturiser to keep the elasticity of the vagina is cum! :)

Yes, that seems to be the conclusion of the article. Use it or lose it. My intuition is that if you edged a couple times a week, you would be good to go.

For what it is worth, I am pretty sure I had some “shrinkage” before I started PE. I’m in my mid-fifties. Before I started I had come off of a long illness, and one of the meds that I took to treat it had mostly killed my libido and erections. No night wood, I could maybe muster up a 40% erection. But with no libido, why bother? Anyway, I’m sure that PE helped get back what I lost, and then got me some more.

I went from 7 inches at 21 to around an unhealthy 6 inches at 37 when I discovered PE. Use it or lose it!

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. Thomas Edison (1847-1931)

I measured at one point when I was younger and remember getting 6.75”. I have no idea how I measured, but I think there is a good change it was BPEL because I had just read about PE somewhere. But at any rate, when I started here I was at 6.5”, I think I may have lost a 1/4 girth too during those bad times.
