I’ve been jelqing at 100% erection. Is it pretty much consensus that this is bad?

it is “good” for your penis for early retirement… :P

How are you doing it with a true 100% erection? It seems like it would be hard to squeeze any blood through a completely rigid cock. Maybe you’re at more like 90% (which is still dangerous without a lot of conditioning)?

Yeah, I agree it is not 100% for me. Actually I always found the erection-percentage rather confusing.
What one person might call 50% erection, someone else might call 80%.

I never get 100% erection when I am on my own.

The max erection I have when jelqing is when the base is stiff hard and I can hardly squeeze it at all but if I drop my dick it still goes down to 6-7 o’clock.
My normal jelqing is when the base is soft enough so that I can squeeze all way through and still get a good pressure build-up before reaching more than an inch from the base.

Bad jelqing is when I cannot even get enough blood to get a decent pressure even when I reach the glans. Then I need fantasies or kegels.

So these are pretty much the three levels of erection I distinguish
* Hard erection. Cannot squeeze much. I call this 80-100% although it isn’t.
* Semi-hard. Good jelqing. I call this 50-70%
* Soft. Worthless for jelqing. I call this soft.

Why bad ?

You’re forcing more blood. More blood more gains ?

If you are not conditioned (e.g. just started PE) it is very bad. If you are conditioned, it’s alright. Although it is really hard to squeeze.

Jelqing involves the movement of blood. If you’re 100% erect you cannot move blood, so you cannot jelq. You can only squeeze a solid organ. Because it’s solid you tend to squeeze harder than you normally would with a jelq and this can lead to problems.

You need to maximize two things when you jelq. Expansion, and pressure. You defiantly have loads of pressure when your jelqing at high erection levels. The have virtually no expansion however. It won’t work without you maximizing the two.

An erection also puts allot of stress on your veins. And thats where you most likely are getting very sore. If your soreness isn’t deep down and it’s just on the surface. Then you are doing nothing more than pumping up veins. They will eventually thrombose and then you’ll be in a world of hurt.

I jelq and do bends with virtually no erection. Yet my penis is bigger than it is when I have an erection. Read this thread, it’s a process of kegels, bends, and jelqing.
