Let's talk about perspective, angles, and size

I don’t know if a mod could move this over into the main forum, as I think it would fit better there…?

Does anyone ever look at their penis and see their pre-PE size even though they have gained substantially?

For instance, I have gained about 1” in length since starting and about 0.5” in girth. Now if I look down at my dick when erect it looks longer. But from the underside it looks shorter. If I am standing in front of a mirror from the side it looks small if I am close to the mirror. Further away from the mirror it looks big.

I have a theory as to why my dick looks smaller from the underside than from the top. I’ve achieved the majority of my length gains via hanging BTC. So my length has come primarly from increased lig length, and so my exit point is now lower than it was. Since the tunica has not increased much in length it looks weird, long from the top/front but like my pre-PE size from the underside.

Girth is another matter altogether. Some guys have a deep penis and some guys have a wide penis girth wise. Obviously the lucky ones have both depth and width. I have more depth than width, so my 5.5” girth looks more like 5” or so from the top.

Do you ever notice how some guys post pics and get disputed on the size that they are. Some look bigger than they are, and some look smaller. I’ve seen posted pictures where the claimed size was easily 0.5” smaller than me in both length and girth, yet their unit looked significantly larger than mine. What determines this? Penis exit point, width, depth, lighting, perspective, angle? Is it too much to ask for a dick that looks big in any scenario, all the time?

When you look at your penis do you see your pre-PE or post-PE size? Are there angles that change your perspective and make you look bigger or smaller?

That’s not a bad theory. There’s also the issue involved with skin. Unless you also focus on skin growth, your scrotum will undoubtedly be hanging farther forward in relation to your body with a gain of one inch in length. I.E. The dreaded turkey neck.

I’m the opposite when it comes to girth dimensions- very wide but shallow shaft. I always though that my side view looked good. Yet recently I have been realising that is looks incredibly thin from the side. This probably makes it look longer which may be why it still looks good (IMO).

I have the same thing man-of-10. I think I have wider width then usual but also shallow and thin when looked from the side. I don’t know your measurements but for mine I think the extra width makes it look short and wide, and I really want length so it can be long and wide. Like a 2x4. :D

Like pwpp said, if you make a topic in the pictures forum, you should be able to post them ok. If they are really big you could resize them, or upload them to imageshack where there isn’t a limit on size. And post a link to the picture (or thumbnail preview).

Makes me wonder about girth, if you increase girth, will you get more width or height?

My guess is that if you are increasing the size of the CC’s, then the shaft will get wider as apose to deeper. The diameter of each CC chamber is increasing, and so this increase is doubled when it comes to shaft width. So for a given increase in CC chamber diameter, the height will increase by this amount, but the width will increase by 2x this amount (as there are two cylindrical chambers side by side obviously).

It would therefore stand to reason that PE would produce a rather wide and flat shaft, if only the CC chambers are considered. The there is the CS. Obviously and increase in CS size will result in greater depth only…

Regarding my pics, I’m going to make a thread soon in the picture forum, just for the sake of it. My pics are too big at the moment (that’s got to be a good thing right? lol). I’ll be able to shrink them (:( ) using nero hopefully…

Regarding whether increased girth will increase width or depth, it certainly depends on the individual and the exercises used. Genetics play a big part. The big guys that look truly big in every angle are both deep and wide. My guess is with my genetics my depth would increase more than my width, as this has been the pattern so far.

Interesting topic — thanks for starting it. I am set up the same way as you — more depth than width. Consequently my best view is SIDE VIEW. It took me forever to understand why this was so.

Additionally I think you are right about pictures in the member pics area. I see guys pics with similar stats to mine and think, “That looks bigger”. It is probably a combination of — girth configuration, angle, and just the fact that our dumb ass brains won’t allow us to see our penises accurately.

Most times however I do see my post-PE size — especially the length.

P.S. it appears the girth I have gained is in both directions.

My girth also increased in both directions.
