Meeting with other Thunder's Place members in Real Life

I would proudly like to say that I voted for #5 after reading what Twat does to hand lotions. Actually I just moved to Seattle, and I will have to check out that store that Ike suggested. I am almost intimidated to live so near to RWG, I keep expecting his unit to break out of his house and wreak chaos across the metro Seattle area. Hey.. it could happen! (At least Twatteaser isn’t nearby or I would never go near the cosemtics aisle ever again.) :)

People who voted that only insane people meet off the internet care to share your horror story with us? Is it scarier meeting just one person or is it better in groups or a public place?

I would not mind meeting up with someone in the NYC area if it was not too long in traveling. Doing intensive pe is kind of a lonely experience and almost impossible to share with anyone including my wife.

It has changed my sexuality in a very good way but I believe that pe men are in their own world in terms of sexual identifacation. It would be good to share pe experiences with someone in person along with discovering other areas of common interest.

I feel awkward at posting and don’t have a hell of a lot to say on line. I agree, there must be some very interesting cool personalities here.

Let’s just keep getting big.

I think some people believe that this is like a show your dick to people contest in real life. It isn’t at all like that. No one asked me to see mine or vice versa. It is not a meat market. If I talked sex and relationships with West he didn’t say, “go grab a hooker and jay her, I’ll tell you what your doing wrong. ” Nope, nothing like that at all.

People talk shop no matter what they do. If this was about racing cars, it is not like can I try out your ride too? Just putting a face to the faceless masses that you interact with on a daily basis. That’s all.

West is a cool guy, I never felt like he was out to molest me. In fact I learned a lot more about gay people. He was cool and we traded questions back and forth. I even got a great explanation of the PC/BC muscle explained on a train ride up the North East corridor. West has a great sense of humor, is articulate, and very knowledgeable. He is a big train and rail road guru and was pointing out cool stuff on the train ride up. West is an all around great guy and I am proud to call him my friend.

I made plenty of cool friends on this board and I hope to make some more. I figure I have a deeper bond since we all practice our little secret “hush-hush” society. It is not like the vast majority come out and tell everyone about it. “Hi! My name is Fred Jones and I used to have a small dick, but not no more!” I enjoy meeting people from this board and others, I have no problem running into a person who asked me a hundred questions about this or that. I asked a boat load of questions to others and they were cool enough to answer me back.

Some people are terrified like we are going to out them to the world. That isn’t the case. I don’t wear a t-shirt of my Avatar and screen name with a website address on the back saying I am from here, please join us. That is just not me. We are all like a family here, helping each other out and making our goals and dreams come true.

Others don’t want to break the mystical nature of T’s place. That is cool with me. I can respect that, no problem. Meeting a member of this place for some is like seeing the man behind the curtain in the Wizard of OZ. It just makes the place too ordinary for them. That’s cool. No matter how you voted on the poll, I respect your choice.

So please keep coming here and hopefully open up for some posting. Tell us how your doing and other stuff like that. Lurkers feel free to register and see more of the board that only a member does. It is free while being a nice safe place where we all come to better ourselves.

I think a lot of members’ fears about meeting other members is the fantasy of what would happen IF. Like if we have a drink together, do we have to show our units?

There is a whole lot of comraderie that happens here at Thunders. We talk about our goals, our anxieties, our triumphs and embarassments. Over coffee or a drink or a meal, in real time and in real life, the conversation is sillier, zanier, as welll as more informative. It can work well if you get your head into it.

The bunch of times that I went out with PirateSteve, I can assure you that the conversation revolves around .0001% dick talk and 99.9999% life in general. The commonality of what brought us together as friends was PE but it wont keep you friends for very long. It is the other things you have in common. The other real life things.

Westla and I had a great time together. We talked to each other about our respective life histories, politics, art, PE, and whatever other subjects came to mind. A very nice experience and one that I would gladly repeat.

At one point when I had beers with RWG I was talking about stretches and using a folded up dollar bill as an ersatz penis. I’m pulling at it with both hands, twisting it, bending it back and forth. I bet it looked pretty weird to the people at the next table. Fortunately the place was too loud for anyone to actually hear what we were talking about.
