Bobbing is the main effect you are trying for, it indicates your are contracting the BC and you aren’t over coming it with too much force.

I think its a normal reflex many guys get. If you just squeeze the glans, many times it causes a involuntary BC contraction…all normal.

I have suspected for a long time now, that some PE exercises like jelqueing and clamping cause this involuntary contraction and actually is beneficial in that it makes the BC very strong and helps produce very good EQ.

This is what I believe is happening for guys that report getting rock hard erections from jelquing or clamping, but HAVEN’T done any kegels. I think it also helps explain why many guys don’t get the very high EQ from the same exercises, they don’t get that involuntary reflex contraction.

As far as contributing to premature ejaculation, I have heard other guys with that problem notice that their BCs contract involuntarily and it contributes to the problem. If that is so, then I would suggest trying to become aware of it and learn to relax it…it would probably help.

Very interesting thread. I would definitely like to work on both base girth and EQ. I will be very careful though, since I’ve had my share of accident doing PE. I’ve been on a break for 3 months now, just kegelling, and my BC muscle is getting stronger - but slooowly - so it would definitely be nice to speed up the process. With caution though.

I’ve tried to do some jelqing lately, but it doesn’t seem to work for me anymore. I don’t get a blood filled hang and my EQ only goes down, although I’m doing very little. Is there a name for this ‘losing the ability to jelq’-thing. What kind of injury could that be? Some might say, I’ve not fully recovered, but I’d really do anything to help the healing along. And better EQ should do that. So I’m thinking about doing this exercise only, for a while, what do you think.

Sparkyx: I’ve read about it before, but I’m not sure exactly what it is, and how you can see if it’s alright.

At this point my only goal is to fully recover, I’ll let you know if these kegel stretches works for me.

Would you guys say that “kegeling against resistance”, aka “kegel stretches” are an advanced routine, or could a newbie like me try it?

If you just pull enough to give a resistence you can overcome with your BC, meaning if you can cause your hand to “bob” then it is a reasonable force, and should be fine for any level of PE.

I’ve been doing these kegels for the last week or so. I’m not pulling very hard, just a little, and it definitely makes kegeling easier, because you can feel that you’re really using the muscle. Doing it like this it seems very safe (why shouldn’t it be), and I’d say my erection have been very good lately. So thanks, I’m going to continue doing this just to keep my EQ at its highest level. The better EQ should help me recover totally.

Then I might start to do some jelqing. The only problem is that I have so much skin on my penis (due to jelqing) and I really wouldn’t like to expand it even more. So I’ve been wondering if you could succesfully PE without ever jelqing?

I’ve been doing this for over a week now and the improvement is definately there. As reported by Big Dane my EQ seems to also be at the highest level since doing these. (i’m doing between 60-70)

Havent taken measurements yet but I know for sure that my base girth has increased somewhat.

Many guys have success without jelques. This whole forum is filled with alternate techniques. Its just jelquing is really on of the best. It sounds like you could just try not stretching the skin so much, and keep jelquing.

I have been jelquing now for a couple months and I barely get any skin stretch, but I do more of a jelque pull and squeeze. You sound smart, just work on it, and figure it out.

Hey guys I was wondering, does this smooth muscle actually extend up to the base of the penis? Is this where it anchors or what? I was wondering, since bodybuilders do 8-12 reps at about 70-80% of there maximum weight, to gain the greatest possible muscle growth (it causes cytoplasmic growth which causes mass gain, whereas very heavy weights cause strength gain with little weight gain=myofibrillar growth), should we do the same for these exercises, as the more the muscle grows in size, the greater our base girth will be. It seems in that diagram that the muscle extends to the base of the penis. This basically means that this muscle should be treated as bodybuilders treat there muscles, if base girth is wanted. This would mean certain rep/set ideals, and maybe even a protein shake before and after each session lol (maybe that’s going a bit too far)! Would you think that base girth is important to women, like do you think they’d prefer to have a “maximum stretch” at the end of each thrust?Just a thought

These aren’t for smooth muscle, they are for skeletal muscles. I don’t really think bigger is better here, but stronger is, as well as increased endurance.

I find with stronger BC muscles, and with increased endurance, you can keep a harder erection for longer periods of time before it starts to fade.

You may be right, if you increase their size, you probably will increase base girth. Just realize that this is skeletal muscle, not smooth. Smooth muscle can’t be contracted at will like skeletal (maybe biofeedback training might allow you to).

It’s a really good morning for me, and we all know what that a good morning is, LOL! I just noticed this thread yesterday (thanks for bringing it back up on top!), did a couple sets of 50 these Kegel Stretches, and it seems *as if* I have grown 0.25” in length and base girth overnight!

Not an actual growth yet, but the penis soft of filled up already, ready to grow. A really good PI! This is probably the first way that I have discovered how to work the penis effectively past the ligaments. Mine has not been worked there yet all that much, at least not in the right way, so it is not all that rubbery tough and conditioned. Who knows, maybe even I could get some of these newbie gains, LOL! ;)

I immediately got this “aaahhh…. I needed that” feel yesterday. WOW, love it! A really good EQ this morning. Thanks, Marky!

Anyone else knows of good ways to work the penis behind the ligaments?

Then you were doing it exactly right! But beware, this exercise is so powerful, that there is temptation to overdo it. That will fatigue the muscles, and EQ will drop temporarily.
