Opinions on rest days

I think most of us realize the importance of rest days with exercise but is it the same for PE?

Have noticed different opinions from members.

How do you feel and what have been your experiences?

I’ve not formed an opinion quite yet, but just out of interest, when you PE, what’s your body telling you? Do you get so fatigued that your dick can’t take any more? I think you should be just behind this point most of the time.

I’m going for DLD’s seven days on for the moment, nothing too intense, and if I feel that a break would do me good, I’ll take one, but not until I hear by dick ask for one ;)

ICM-I am like you and have not really formed on opinion. I am also doing PE 7 days. Some members have stated that rest days are critical but I am not sure I understand why. Would like to have them explain as I am very open minded on this and like everyone else would like to make sure I am doing things th most beneficial way.

I think it could be like a curve. At the start of your PE career you take many rest days to ease yourself in, and then after a year or more you may be taking one or no rest days a week.

Maybe you’ll take one week off after four, I think the main idea we need to focus on (although it’s hard) is that we’re here for a long time, so it’s not a waste of time to modify the routine for a few weeks and see what happens.

Of course if you’re gaining, then why change? :)

I have always trained with no rest days. It has worked for me on a couple of levels. The most important is a habitual level. I can easily make one day off become a week off and so on. So it is real important to me to stay consistent by daily exercise to reduce the “give up” factor. The second reason is I was taught early in my program that increased intensity was important to penis enlargement. I started out with a daily program that grew in intensity as the months past. I think this growing intensity contributed to my gains.

When ever I write a program for someone I always tell them to start at 7 days on and back off if it is too much.

What I am still wandering about is that it seems like most of the things you read and a lot of the comments from members mention that rest days should be taken. I’m sure they have their reasons but I’m not sure what they are. Maybe someone who believes you should will clarify this.

I think 5 days on with 2 sessions daily and on off days, stretches whenever you have the time.

When my penis feel exhausted I just warmup and check if I can get hard quickly if not, I need rest.

Don’t know if it’s useful but that’s my two cents.

I’m still not sure how often to PE.

I’m on a day on, day off schedule at the moment just because I’ve always agreed with the theory behind rest days (although this may now have been blown out by DLD’s no rest routine - how can anyone argue with gains like that!).

I’ve have never felt too much fatigue in my dick itself following training, but if I’ve done a couple of days consecutively, the the skin feels a bit sore and I sometimes have a few red dots so I rest until the dots start to go (normally a day does it).

Would it do any harm PE’ing before the red dots have gone? They don’t cause me any pain, just look a bit unsightly.

I used to take rest days, the usual; 2on-1off-2on-2off and 5on-2off, but nowadays never. Go by the feel. Pain is bad, but if your ligs are just slightly sore, what the hell. If you get injured, wait till you are back in shape. Use common sense.

I have got the best results with this if I’m going for length I take little or no time off unless the dick needs a break. But for girth it seems rest time is good for gains I would do no more than 5 on 2 off and you only need to work it for .5 hours a day. I also have found that you should go for one or the other. Right now I’m looking for length so I’m just doing mostly hanging and manual stretching with some light jelqing a squeezes for health. I find with my self to get length I have to put a lot of time in and a lot of work.

I can’t remember who was posting about it but it had to do with extended breaks regularly. Something like 2 months on 2 weeks off. It sounded interesting to me because I made my greatest gains after I came back from a extended break. I still don’t have the guts to try it again but I was really hoping whoever was talking about that sees this post and gives their experience.

I have heard a few other people mention that they thought they needed more rest with the girth work. Also interesting that you feel it is better to concentrate on either length or girth separately.I have wondered about that.

DLD- Interesting point also. I am like you though and don’t think I would have the guts to try it.

It took me a long time to firguire that one out I would always work both and I found that if I was hanging or stretching alot I couldnt get girth gains and as soon as I stopped or cut back on hanging and stretching the girth gains would come.

I used to say it all the time, I have got most of my gains after rest periods. Not right after like two weeks after starting back, so it’s not that you dick grows while resting it just grows more after getting back to work. Maybe cause it had a chance to heal.

Dino- I understood that you felt like your length work hindered your girth.

Do you feel also that doing girth work slowed your length gains?

I ask this because I have been doing both together and my girth gains have actually been better than my length. I have only been at this for a little over 6 months though.
