PE on hiatus

Hey everyone, just saying I am going to stop doing PE for a couple weeks, not due to an injury or anything, but because a lot of career and family issues have crept up, and I’ve decided I have to get out of the state within the next couple of weeks.

I know I’m not the most active poster, but if for some reason anyone notices I have completely stopped posting for a couple weeks, that is probably why.

I’m thinking of moving to somewhere in NC (perhaps Raleigh), or Chicago, or San Francisco, because I want to move to a place where I actually stand a chance of getting a job, since Western Pennsylvania doesn’t seem like a good place for one to pick up an entry-level engineering job.

Anyways, guess this post has kinda turned into a post that may not be fitting for the Main Member forum, so if a moderator feels like it should get moved, that is fine.

I may get to read this forum about one time over the next two weeks, so if anyone has any suggestions for a place that is good for jobs in a technically-related field (Electical Engineering, or engineering in general), it would be appreciated.

Good luck, I know how scarce jobs are. I’m in the computer field and it’s a blood bath. I’m really thinking of changing fields.

Okay, I’m finally back from my longer than expected hiatus. I kinda managed to work out stuff with my family, even if the conditions are less than ideal. Basically stuff got way out of hand and I kinda just wanted to get away from everyone and try to start anew somewhere new, preferably in a place with a better job market than western Pennsylvania. Still don’t have a real job, but yeah well. I do plan on moving if I can land a job elsewhere, but for now I am still living where I used to. Figured in the end that it’d be better to get a job and then move, rather than move and then find a job. Anyways, I haven’t checked the forums in a long time regardless, just because I haven’t been home very often, as I was visiting my parents a lot and what not while I was trying to set them straight.

Well, guess I better get started back on my PE, as I can honestly admit that I missed it, hehe.

And, yes, PE can become quite addictive.

Welcome back! I don’t know how I would of handled not being able to come here everyday for my thunder medicine! Keep your head up and shit will pan out, starting PE again is a great place to start!
