Real size standard deviation is one thing. But what we “remember” is a totally different story.

I have seen hundreds of penises (soft and hard) in person and I can honestly recall a good number of real 7”+ big cocks (to monster 8”+ size ones). Those of us who care about “sizes” (obviously most of us on this forum) will tend to remember the larger ones.

I am gay here.. so I have seen many big cocks in different settings… (can’t really give details… lol). In one typical setting, I would see 3 or 4 out of 10 guys with 7”+ penis size. Then again, I like big cocks. So I am pre-selecting those with bigger ones. (selection bias!)

Indeed. Long, long ago when I was fairly promiscuously bi-sexual, as I have related here before, I only ever saw 1 that was genuinely 8”, and very few that were close to 7”. BP Tony from everything I know which is not much. I am not a penis expert. But, I would say that the average size is 5.5 to 5.75 NBP and just a little less than 6 inches to about 6.3 BP. Anything less than 3/4 of an inch most women or people wouldn’t notice anyway. Now when it is an inch or more especially an 1 1/2 big difference. So basically if you are in the 5.5 to 6.5 range your all good average speaking.
