This is rather a vague statement. If you mean that it isn’t an accurate representation of ordinary people having ordinary sex, then of course you’re absolutely right. On the other hand I have very little time for these arguments that the guys’ dicks are made to look three inches longer than they really are through a combination of “trick” camera work, female co-stars who are actually hobbits, holography, and Venus being refracted through marsh gas. The guys who look really huge look like that because they are really huge - the camera angle and so on is going to help them show off what they’ve got in the best possible light, but it’s never going to make a guy who’s just a bit bigger than average look like he’s packing an absolute monster.

I meant porn is selective. All the guys are deliberately big. It’s the industry. I am not saying that a camera angle can make a 6 inch dick look 8. Perhaps it can make a 6 inch dick look, like 6.5.It’s pretty realistic.

Yes, majority of the guys were roughly between those measurements…but more frequently within the 6” marker. So based on this. I’d say between 6 - 7” is the mean average, while the 5 - 7” is the general average recognized internationally.

Not sure who mentioned it but about only bigger guys engage in swinger activities. I don’t really see that as a complete possibly, but perhaps some do. But just like in porn, you have to be able to perform in front of an audience (even if it’s as small as 3 - 4 people).

What I meant was, saying “Porn isn’t real” in the sense of “Industrial Light & Magic use all sorts of fancy tricks to make average-sized guys look like Cockzilla” (which some people say, and which I vigorously disagree with) is a lot different from saying “Porn isn’t real” in the sense of “The guys involved in it are often very much bigger than average and represent only a tiny percentage of men in general”, (which is what you’re saying, and which I agree with).

Agreed totally. It looks as most porn guys are at least 8-8.5” generally. Sometimes more. I’m 7.5 about and I look tiny in comparison even in the same angles.

Keep in mind a lot of the guys in porn are 5’8” or shorter, and the girls are around 4’9”-5’4” in size. Also lots of the guys don’t look to be very big (weight wise), and the girls are tiny as well.

OK so I have been coming into this thread every few days since it began, and I don’t really see where we ever came to an agreement on the “true” average… was it ever talked about, or has it always been about the issues of porn and self image?
