To put those numbers in perspective one must understand what Standard Deviations and a Normal Distribution are. (if you already do — this is not directed to you.
What Phoenix7672 illustrated is the plus or minus of 1 standard deviation from the mean — or =/- 1 Sigma.
In a Normal Distribution approximately 68% of values of a population will fall into the +/- 1 Sigma boundary.
95.5% +/- 2 Sigma
99.7% +/- 3 Sigma
What does this mean for erect penis length? — Well, first we have to state — based on these studies, because the most recent study has number a bit smaller, IIRC.
Based on these studies, ONLY 16% of guys will have an erect penis longer than 6.58, because 68% are between 4.92 and 6.58 — AND 16% are smaller than 4.92.
It then follows that based on these studies ONLY 2.2% of guys will have a penis longer than 7.41" , and ONLY 1 guy in 740 will have a dick longer than 8.25"
As far as girth, based on these studies a 6" girth is equivalent to +2.5 sigma which means only 1 in 162 guys will have a dick that thick.
The most recent study — I posted a thread about — The truth about girth - 2015 Study
The mean is 4.59 and the SD is .43 for girth. n=318
The mean for length is 5.17 and SD is .65. n=692.
All measurements were bone pressed and taken by a medical professional.
What gives credence to the numbers is the flaccid stretched mean length was 5.21" — based on 14,000 penises.
