Possible disadvantages of wearing a cock ring?

I’ve been wearing a cock ring made of rubber for the last few days. About 2 hours per day, divided in several periods. It keeps my penis swollen (when I’m using it) and, whenever I get an erection (for some reason), my penis gets almost as swollen as when I’m clamping. I always let the erection subside, so that pressure doesn’t last long (that’s not the purpose of the cock ring use).

Could there be any disadvantage of this method? I mean, is wearing a cock ring a good and safe idea?

By the way, the ring I’m using is made of rubber, so it’s a little bit elastic (not much, just a little bit). I would consider it tight, but my penis never gets dark, palid or cold when I’m wearing it.

If you are not experiencing any coldness, bluing, pain or numbness, then there should be no problems.

Well, the ring is just a little bit expandable. My penis cannot expand it, only if I force it with my fingers. Taking the ring off may take 30-60 secs, depending on how swollen my penis is.

So, I would say wearing my cock ring is like being clamped while flacid and leave the clamp there. Well, perhaps not as intense as a clamp, but it’s hard to compare. My penis is always in a “swollened” state.
